INCREDIBLE Footages of Major Flooding in Lake Marble Falls Texas Oct 16 2018
A weather pattern stalled over Texas has produced the worst flash flooding since 1935 in Llano County in the central part of the state.
The Llano River rose from about 10 feet to nearly 40 feet in less than 24 hours.
Also, Dallas broke the record for the wettest autumn on record -- just halfway into the season. The city has received almost 2 feet of rain so far this fall.
More rain is on the way for Texas on Wednesday and Thursday as flood watches and warnings remain in place for a large part of Texas.

This is day 2 of our Marble Falls mini-vacation. We had a great time. Today we ride on the Vanishing Texas River Cruise and then we take a tour of the Longhorn Cavern state Park. Both places were beautiful. Longhorn Caverns ended up being my wife's favorite cave so far. Come join us as we explore these two wonders.

Scenic overlook Central Texas near Marble Falls & Kingsland
Scenic overlook central Tx. If you are on a day trip this is a great place for a picnic. It's located approx. 6 miles west of hwy#281 on Park Road 4 near Longhorn Caverns State Park. Rarely used by anyone...private. Just look for a blue sign. I think it says Picnic Area...about 6 miles from Inks Lake State Park.

Exploring Marble Falls On Foot
Once the hurricane weather subsided we decided to drive a little over and hour and check out a small town called Marble Falls. This is a great town to experience fantastic food and recreation. There is an abundance of wildlife to see here. Make sure you stop by The Double Horn Bar and Grill for one of the best burgers you have ever had. James and Kira were wonderful and took very good care of our dining needs. Give them a raise. They are a micro brewery too, so bring your growlers and fill em up. Dead Man's hole was another cool little stop along the way, which holds some creepy and macabre history.
We thoroughly enjoyed making this video for all of you. Stay tuned for the next one featuring the beautiful city of Lakeway and it's remarkable trail system.
