Lake Pflugerville fishing is heating up early! Walked around the lake with Megan on this trip and hooked up with a couple monster Lake Pflugerville bass! Spinnerbaits and lipless crankbaits worked best. Lake Pflugerville bass fishing is something you should check out if you haven't. Almost the entire body of water is fishable. I like fishing on the dam where there is deeper water, and then moving over to the other side where there is some shallow grass. Late winter is the perfect time of the year for slow spinnerbaits and ripping crankbaits through the grass. There are some monster fish in there! Also, our new addition to the family, Winslow, is here! Winslow will join in on our adventures soon!

Flooding in Pflugerville, TX
More than 6 inches of rain was dumped in Pflugerville in few hours. In one area, approximately 4 inches of rain was dumped in 1 hour. The location you see is on Pecan St, Pflugerville Parkway/FM 685, and other areas of Pflugerville. I was trying to reach to the lake (no, not to fish, but to check out the water level), but all routes I was trying to use were impassable. Reports had tornado touched down outside of Travis County.

My journey trying to remodel my photography studio on a shoestring budget, I was on the way back to the studio in Pflugerville from Austin after pickup up an ikea area shag rug to go in the main front room. I have no idea what I'm doing or how I'm going to ever get the place to look the way I envision it because I just can't afford to do all that I wish I could, but little things and finds like this definitely help. I had a VERY successful photography studio in my local town, and the fell very ill in 2011 after my 4th child was born in 2010 and officially stopped working around 2012. I was in hospice for 4 years and never thought I'd make it. But I regained the strength and kept the faith, and slowly got up the courage, will and strength to do something about my depressing state of mind and took control of my life and family and got a REAL brick and mortar studio in an awesome location in Pflugerville and this is part of my beginning journey to take my life back and be more successful now that ever before. I prayed to God for this opportunity for so long and now that I'm here and it's within my reach and will stop at nothing to achieve my goals. Attempting to document the journey. No matter how small, insignificant or mundane the things I will choose to record and document, I am hoping my story will maybe inspire someone out there. You can do anything you put your mind to. I hope my future videos will help someone struggling. I have a lot more to this story that I will eventually open up to, but for now the saga starts slow and mysterious.
