A well enjoyable state park that anyone can attempt with trails all along the lake and some with views that peak threw the trees. There is even a handicap trail (.05 miles). They have 6 screened shelters that rest on the lake view and looks to be a great spot for fishing since the fish where jumping out of the lake ever 5 mins. With CampfireGirl and Lostgirl

Cabin at Garner State Park
We loved staying in this historic cabin! All 14 cabins in the park were built by hand around the time of the Great Depression. More history and charm than we expected. They’ve had a few obvious updates, but the park states they are largely in original condition. Stonework, woodwork and those crank windows are gorgeous! The cabins are worthy of such deep protection, they inspect them immediately when you leave. What jewels :) We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!
