Hundreds of people lined up in 15 degree weather for Black Friday shopping at one Milwaukee business.
But it wasn't for cheap TVs or computers, it was for beer.
Lakefront Brewery released a special Black Friday Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels. It was the fourth year they've had some type of limited edition beer only available on Black Friday.
The 22 ounce bottles went for $15 each and they sold out of the 5,000 they had in about 3 1/2 hours.
The first person got in line at 9:30 p.m. Thanksgiving and by the time the doors opened at 8 a.m. Friday, the line went on for blocks. Brewery officials estimated around 800 people had lined up.
Owner Russ Klisch says Black Friday is their biggest day of the year.

Wisconsinite: the most Wisconsin beer ever! Made with 100% Wisconsin-grown malted barley, wheat, and hops, including a unique, first-of-its-kind, never before fermented, indigenous Wisconsin yeast strain. It pours a hazy, unfiltered, straw color with a fine white head. The mild clove, banana, and citrus aromas from the Wisconsin yeast go well with the malty sweetness and fresh baked wheat bread flavors. With its light body, lively effervescence, and 4.4% ABV, Wisconsinite is a refreshing summer session beer.
The beer was created around a new native Wisconsin yeast strain envisioned by Lakefront President Russ Klisch and developed by Jeremy King of home brewing supplies distributor Northern Brewer. Their new strain is believed be to the only North American-grown yeast in commercial use today as well as the first native brewing yeast from Wisconsin. Yeast is just the tip of the local-sourcing iceberg, however. All products used in Wisconsinite hail from the state, including its water, malted barley, wheat and hops.
Wisconsinite is great with lighter, summer fare: green salad, seafood salad, smoked salmon, lemon pepper chicken, and shrimp or fish tacos.

Milwaukee, USA: In Motion!
We spent five days in Milwaukee in May 2016, and were completely (and very pleasantly) surprised by how cool Milwaukee is!
If we had to come up with one word to describe Milwaukee, it'd definitely be entrepreneurial. We met a lot of small business owners who are changing the face of the city, and we also learned about the big Milwaukeean dynasties like Pabst and Miller that built the city in centuries past.
In this video, the locations you see are as follows:
The Milwaukee River and riverfront/riverwalk in downtown -- on weekend evenings, Milwaukeeans jump on their boats and cruise up and down the river. We grabbed a beer at Rock Bottom Brewery and watched it all happen!
A view of downtown Milwaukee as seen from the 6th Street Viaduct. In the bottom left-hand of the shot, you can see the Harley-Davidson Museum, which is a cool thing to do in Milwaukee, even if you don't like motorcycles. We also suggest you stop by the Great Lakes Distillery, for drinks and a tour near the viaduct, and the Iron Horse hotel for food!
The historical-looking building is Milwaukee's City Hall, and the really cool-looking modern building is the Art Gallery.
Around 0:22, you'll see Old World Third Street. It's the historical German area of town, and even today there are many German restaurants and artisan food producers that have been operating in the same spot for more than 100 years! We took a food tour with Milwaukee Food Tours, and learned all about the German influence on Milwaukee.
Milwaukee is synonymous with BEER, and one of the best things to do in Milwaukee is to go on a brewery tour. We went on the Miller tour, which was FREE and included samples. We also went on the Lakefront Brewery Tour - one of the best (and funniest) in the country. The Lakefront tour charges, but is very worthwhile, and includes free samples, a free gift, and some hilarious memories!

The hotel at the end is the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, where we were hosted. The hotel is quite new, and was built for visitors to the city, and visitors to the casino. It's really well located for visiting the Harley Museum...only a short walk away.

MILWAUKEE LAKEFRONT SHOOTING aftermath
Milwaukee Sherif Officers tried making a traffic stop on vehicle with 3 black individuals in it as shown in video. The driver tried avoiding the traffic stop by hopping the median to go on other side of road. As soon as vechicle hopped median an officer who was approximately 15-20 feet from driver side pulled his pistol out and unloaded around 9 rounds into vehicle. Driver never showed aggression towards any officers and never once made it look like he was going to intentionally use his vehicle to cause harm to anyone. Once stopped officers become very aggressive towards crowd watching.
