Langkawi Sky Bridge in Malaysia
The Langkawi Sky Bridge is located at the 'end' of the Cable Car ride. One of the island's highlights, it is a 410ft-long curved pedestrian bridge above Mount Mat Cinchang. It may sound like a cliché but it is really true -- the views from here are simply stunning.
Located 2,300ft above sea level, the Sky Bridge is easily accessible by the Langkawi Cable Car. The journey to the top starts out at the Oriental Village in the upper northwest of Langkawi Island, near Pantai Kok.
The views on the way to the top of Langkawi's second-highest peak include those of the Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls and the rainforest. After travelling a few hundred feet upwards, the cable car levels outs and stops at the Sky Bridge, the final station. Those with a fear of heights might be a little afraid of the altitude, but it is a very safe bridge with double steel railings and an enclosed wire mesh. The 1.8m wide bridge has two triangular platforms that act as 'stops' where you can admire the view and rest your feet.

A Must See in Langkawi - Cable Car & Sky Bridge
Today we decided to do something besides lounge around on the beach.
We got a quick (and very cheap) Grab taxi ride to Panorama Langkawi, where there is a lot more than just a cable car (something we didn’t realise until getting there).
Here you can find:
- SkyCab: the world’s steepest cable car
- SkyBridge: the world’s longest curved suspension bridge
- SkyRex: an indoor 4D ride
- SkyDome: an indoor roller coaster ride (with a twist)
- 3D Art Museum: where you can become part of the artwork
We just wanted to go on the cable car but after being told we had to buy the combo deal which included all of the above we made the most of the added ‘freebies’…..and we’re glad to say it turned out to be a very fun day!
At the top of the cable car you have panoramic views of Langkawi and the surrounding islands, we were lucky enough to have a clear day so we could see quite far. You’re very high up and in the middle of the jungle, so watch out for low flying birds and playful monkeys!
Afterwards we walked a bit up the main road to Seven Wells Waterfall. It was 638 steps up the mountain to get to the top but once there we were awarded with a beautiful natural waterfall and swimming pool - the perfect way to end a hot day!

Langkawi Skybridge & Skycab: Best and Scariest Views of Langkawi!
The Langkawi Skycab is the steepest cable car in the world and is actually kind of terrifying. After going all the way up, we went into the Langkawi Skybridge which is the tallest curved suspension bridge suspended by a single pylon. I'm terrified of heights and this was quite the experience! The views from the Langkawi Skybridge are absolutely incredible though! If you are in Langkawi, you cannot miss it! It's definitely the best island in Malaysia!

If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Malaysia Travel guide:
World's most SPECTACULAR pedestrian bridge (also one of the main Langkawi attractions) also called Sky Bridge located in Langkawi Malaysia, is located at the 2nd highest mountain of Langkawi, Gunung Mat Cincang.
In order to reach there you can either go for a 3 hour trek via Seven Wells Waterfalls through steep and very challenging trail or alternatively, you can go to the Langkawi Sky Cab where you can have some fun first at the 3D art museum. The entry to the art museum is included in the ticket you purchased for the Sky Cab ( the Langkawi cable car price is 55 RM per pax).
After that you take the first cable car to the mid observation deck . It will take you through the mount mat Cincang where some of the rock formation are oldest in South East Asia.
At the mid observation deck you need to take another cable car to go the top station from where you need to have a 10-15 min trek to the Sky Bridge or to avoid that you can take the SkyGlide or the inclined lift on a small purchase.
Interestingly , the bridge even though held by an inclined pylon by just 8 cables can hold 250 people at a time.. Overall a good experience visiting a major icon for Malaysia tourism.. No doubts why it is obviously the best of langkawi attractions.
Reviews:
1. Some artwork were really awesome at the 3D museum.
2. There is also the SkyRex or 11D cinema which was quite okayy.
3. The entry fee may be quite high but with so many things to do and so much natural beauty it's totally worthy.
4. You may have some discomfort in your ears due to the low pressure but it will go away once you are out of the cable car.
5. Ths view from the SyBridge is just amazing . It feels like heaven especially if you stay there till evening.
6. Shooting for the last scene of the Bollywood movie Don 2 was done on this bridge

Though not the longest bridge in the world, it sure is the most exhilarating.
The Langkawi Sky Bridge stands alone, both in terms of its designs and its magnificent view.
The bridge spans 125 meters between 2 mountain tops, 700 meters above sea level.
Its curved walkway offers a vertigo inspiring view straight down of the ravine that it crosses.
Further in the distance are views of the Andaman Sea and Tarutao Island in Thailand.
To get to this high wire bridge, visitors take a cable car up the mountain.

LANGKAWI ISLAND SKY BRIDGE & CABLE CAR - OVERRATED?? (Langkawi Malaysia Vlog)
LANGKAWI ISLAND'S FAMOUS SKY BRIDGE & CABLE CAR may be just slightly OVERRATED. We claim this because it's $20.53 (85 MYR) per person just to ride the cable car. Then once you get to the bridge, you must pay an additional (6 MYR). If we were from MALAYSIA, it would've been half the price which honestly may have made a difference. The whole place was crowded and gave off an amusement park vibe. The views were unbelievable but we're just not sure if they were worth the price. If you have kids, it seems like an awesome place because they have so many things to do for families. We don't regret going to THE SKY BRIDGE & CABLE CAR but we definitely wouldn't do it again.

I had spent around 8 days in Malaysia. 4 days at Kuala Lumpur and 4 days at Langkawi. At Langkawi, i had stayed at Langkapuri Inn near Cenang Beach. The hotel is a budget no frills hotel. Only advantage is the close proximity of Cenang Beach. It is less than 100 metres away from the hotel. I was charged around Rs 3300 per night. The location is also near to Supermarkets,Pubs,ATMs, Money Exchanges, Markets, Sea Food Restaurants etc. Stay here if you are not concerned about service.
