Start to a 3 week tour of Sri Lanka, Negombo beach & Fish Market
This is the start to a three week tour of Sri Lanka, our flight was from Manchester to Doha then onto Bandaranaike international airport Colombo.
Spent two nights in Negombo, we arrived late afternoon, in the morning started a walk along the beach then off to visit the fish market - where we watched the
local people preparing, selling and drying fish.
Our hotel was called The Holiday Fashion Inn, which was amazing, see our review on Tripadvisor below.
Next stop Dambulla for four nights; we visited the sunset rocks, Sigiriya, Cave Temple, Jeep safari at Minneriya National Park and the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.

A big bluff only. 42,-Euro a night. Effrontery. we stayed 9 nights and 42,-Euro would have been enough for the whole time.
Outside pictures from the internet presentation are ok. But in the rooms it appears much different to what is offered on pictures.
To make matters worse even bedbugs. Restaurant service a joke.
Not finished eating completely the waiter comes to tear the cuttlery and crockery out off your hand. The pool not very clean, too many guest bathing completely dressed. Unfriendly staff.
Cleaning 4 Shirts: 12,-Euro, NOT ironed.
Breakfast buffet must have been invisible.
