Los Tintoreras is a five minute panga ride from Puerto Villamil on Isla Isabela. It is a small volcanic island with fissures filled with water and home to many marine iguanas and a popular nesting site. Large green sea turtles swim in the clear surrounding waters. It is really difficult to explain how one can get “High” from pure watching the beach. I am sure it must be something else there but during my almost 10 km walk around the beach of Puerto Villamil I got so euphoric as I do not remember for ages.
The beach constantly changed its colors and patterns of sand ripples and all these perpetual changes in perpetual surf made every single scene watchable over and over again.
Most of the people to whom I show the phenomena apparently never noticed that until they saw it on the video.
I hope even you who has never been there will comprehend the feeling from following footage.

Welcome to our page. Thanks for checking us out!
We escaped Santa Cruz in hope of a new adventure in the coolest place on earth. We found our way over to Isabela Island the largest island of the archipelago. This large island has a small and laid-back population of just about 2500 people.
The small town of Puerto Villamil hosted our adventures for the second week and gave us a base camp to discover lost histories of abuse, wild flamingos, lava tunnels, erupting volcanoes and the world’s most northern penguin!
