Nevada State Veterans Memorial in Las Vegas Tour
The Nevada State Veterans Memorial, Las Vegas serves as a reminder to all that we will forever honor the heroism and spirit of those who have and will serve in our nation’s military. The memorial is located on the grounds of the Grant Sawyer State Building at 555 E Washington Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
The Nevada State Veterans Memorial, Las Vegas (NSVM, LV)—A National Tribute—is a monument recognizing the service and sacrifice of Americans and their families. The two-acre memorial features 18 statues depicting soldiers from the Revolutionary War to the Global War on Terror.
This monument tribute to our veterans was created by the Las Vegas Memorial Foundation (LVMF), headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. The LVMF partnered with the State of Nevada Department of Veterans Services to provide a stunning location for this world-class national memorial and the support necessary for its creation and operation.

My Angel Café thanks the Director, Consultant, and Artist of My Angel Cafe's 2016 Progress- Update Las Vegas Memorial Video! Special thanks goes to my beloved Daughter, Priscilla Johnson, who also assisted and advised during filming from a rooftop site of the Grant Sawyer Building. Priscilla has twice accompanied the Founder and Co-Founder of My Angel Café to help us bring video footage of this awesome feat; the building of a National Monument in our beautiful Las Vegas valley!
We thank Kittrell Jensen Contractors for donating their brilliant and high-caliber construction work, their time, their devotion and their money to a cause so noble, so great! We thank the Architecture Company, which we have mentioned on previous reports. Many great minds, brilliant minds conceived and laid out plans to build an awesome Historic National Tribute! We thank Governor Brian Sandoval, the State of Nevada, and the Las Vegas Memorial Foundation who worked together with many people who care and love our veterans. Together, we see an idea becoming a reality.
As I watched the workers moving materials and working, I was overwhelmed with appreciation, with peace, with pride in our great country and thankful for the fact that when we can come together as a family to embark on such a great and noble cause, join in doing something greater than ourselves, this is what makes America so Great! MAY GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS AND MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
May 27th, 2016 is the day the Monument will be dedicated by Governor Sandoval! Many Soldiers Report for Duty, everyday, some serving every hour in harms-way. All over the world Soldiers Report to Duty to serve these Great United States! Many Soldiers have gone on; and like my beloved Fian'ce, David Leroy Bell, have rendered their final Salute as they have Reported to our Heavenly Commander. Spec 4 Bell Reported in , for the last time to his heavenly assignment on Valentine's Day 1969. David wasn't just one more Soldier reporting in--his Spirit continues to serve our nation and the world in helping to carry a verse-of-grace, I Saw His Face, to veterans!
There are many veterans who have come back from serving who are still struggling to return to a life of normalcy. My Angel Café knows that the building of this Monument conveys our love and respect for their service, for their sacrifices. My Angel Café visited the site on April 14, 2016, and had the honor of meeting Mr. Kittrell Jensen and Mr. Ron Jensen. These individuals are truly Angels on Earth, who have made and are making immeasurable contributions of their time, work and labor to ensure the Monument will be completed for its Dedication on May 27, 2016! We were so thrilled to take video from rooftop , which is seen on another video!
My Angel Café, along with both visitors on the Strip and local residents were excited about the flatbed tractor-trailer with a dozen of larger-than-life statues of soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen, statues that honor all of our veterans from all of our nation's wars, driven down the Las Vegas Strip on April 13, 2016.
The Las Vegas Memorial Foundation, headquartered in Las Vegas, was created by American Shooters, Inc., a veteran-operated business. The foundation partnered with the state of Nevada, with Governor Sandoval, for the location and the support of this memorial.
The location of this grand Monument, this National Tribute, is at the Grant Sawyer Building. When completed, the visitors will find a Beautiful, two-acre memorial and park. The park will feature 18 larger-than-life statues spanning 200 years of American History. Please go or call 702 (858-5886 for donation opportunities.

American Heroes Challenge & Las Vegas Veterans Memorial
The American Heroes Challenge, a 501 (c) 3 organization, is a charitable vehicle created to benefit and honor members of the military, law enforcement and first responder communities. This is accomplished through a two-day multi-stage firearms and tactics competition designed to test the technical, tactical, and physical capabilities of our nation's armed forces and first responders. Operators from the military, law enforcement, and security professionals will use innovative problem solving methods, teamwork, and their special skill sets to complete tasks in scenarios designed to push the limits of their abilities.
The first annual American Heroes Challenge hosted by American Shooters and Progressive F.O.R.C.E. Concepts, is comprised of six Live Fire stages taking place November 7-8, 2009. Twenty teams consisting of four members will compete in events encompassing low-light operations, manual breeching, building searches, injured operator rescue, rapid deployment skills, and physical fitness
The stage events will be broken down into the following sub-categories: two solo events, two pairs events, and two fire team events. Stage events will be conducted in Las Vegas, Nevada at American Shooters state-of-the art indoor range and Desert Sportsmans Rifle & Pistol Club. Each stage event is named in honor of a fallen individual who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

How to Fish for STOCKED RAINBOW TROUT in LAS VEGAS' Ponds | Winter Catch and Cook
Winter fishing for stocked rainbow trout in las vegas' ponds is always so fun. We fished at the boulder city veterans memorial park pond which has a variety of freshwater fish. I look forward to using my powerbait and spinners all year round. Today we ended up hooking onto two trout, and we did a catch and cook with the fish. Super delicious. Let me know of any other fishing spots you would like me to film at.
