NOTE: Not a lot of people know that real samurais NO longer exist in Japan — the whole lifestyle and system have long disappeared ever since the late 1800s because the emperor favored a more modern western-style army.
Nevertheless, what we can rather find solace in (apart from the existence of museums for appreciating the tradition) is that there are still some people in Japan who try to emulate the swordsmanship of the samurais — such as Joe Okada! Hence, the title Last Samurai is more of a bestowed title upon him due to his skills.

This is a video my brother made during two weeks he spent with me in Osaka (and throughout Kansai), Japan.
Much of the filming was done in Osaka, Higashi Osaka, at Todaiji Temple in Nara, in Kyoto, on Shosha Mountain in Hyogo (famous for The Last Samurai filming), and on Kintetsu trains!
For those of you interested in Japan, I hope you enjoy this - I think my brother did an awesome job making it.
