======================================
This film presents the A321 outside safety inspection and cockpit Check-List (CL) to be performed before powering the A/C for maintenance purposes. Various main stations have been defined. The inspection starts with the nose station. First verify that the NLG chocks are in place. Then, observe that the NLG doors are closed. Make sure that the NLG safety pin is installed. The NLG steering pin must be as required. Finally, verify that the A/C is electrically grounded. The second step consists of inspecting the right MLG. Start by checking that the MLG door is closed. Then, verify that the MLG safety sleeve is installed. Lastly, observe that the MLG chocks are in place. Let us continue with the right engine station, the first thing to do is to make sure that the engine right side access doors are secured. The same must be done for the left side. Check that the engine fan cowls and thrust reverser cowls are secured. The right wing is the 4th station. Observe the position of the slats and then, the flaps. The spoilers must be retracted. Then move to the left wing station. Here again observe the position of the flaps and then, the slats. Although make sure that the spoilers are retracted. The next step is the left engine station. Check that the engine right side access doors are secured. Then pass around the engine to verify that the left side access doors are secured. Make sure that the engine fan cowls and thrust reverser cowls are secured. Proceed with the left MLG station. The Ram Air Turbine (RAT) safety device must be in the stowed position. Continue by checking that the MLG door is closed and that the MLG safety sleeve is installed. Before moving on, observe that the MLG chocks are in place. In the A/C area station you have to make sure that the A/C area is clean and clear of tools and any other items. Now you have to check the 9th station: the external power receptacle. Verify that the external power is connected and available. Finally enter the cockpit for the last station. Start by checking the rear and the overhead circuit breaker, then have a look to the emergency equipment. This consists in: verifying that the escape ropes are present, observing that the fire extinguisher is in position, making sure that the cockpit is equipped with smoke hoods, checking that the fire protective gloves are present, ensuring the crash axe is in position, checking that the cockpit is equipped with life vest, verifying that the oxygen masks are present, observing that the flash lights are in position. You must then make sure that the wipers are off. BATtery 1 and 2 P/BSW must be off and their voltage should be about 25 volts. Proceed by setting the BAT1 P/BSW to AUTO. Then, set the BAT2 P/BSW to AUTO, check that the right hand dome light is on. Verify that the speed brake handle is in the RETract disarm position. If the speed brake handle disagrees with the surface position maintenance action is due. On the center pedestal make sure that the thrust levers are in the idle position. Engine master switches 1 and 2 must be in the OFF position and the engine ignition mode selector in the NORMal position. Observe that the flap handle is set according to surface position. If engine reverse cowls have to be opened for maintenance action, the slats must to be retracted. Still on the center pedestal, check that the radar is off, also verify that the ATC transponder is off. Make sure that the gravity gear extension crank handle is in the reset stowed position. On the instrument panel observe that the three green triangles on the LanDinG GEAR panel are on. The control safety check list should now have been accomplished. On the overhead panel set the EXTernal PoWeR P/BSW to ON, also set the GENerator 1 P/BSW to on and the GEN2 P/SW to ON. Scan and check that no amber lights are on except GEN1 and 2 FAULT light on panel 44VU. The GALY & CAB P/BSW should be as required. Finally verify that there is no light on the VENTilation panel. The A/C is now ready for maintenance.
NOTE: This film shows an A321 but the procedure is also valid for A318, A319 and A320 aircrafts.

The University of Cambridge is a collegiate public research university in Cambridge, England, often University of Cambridge is regarded as one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
Founded in 1209 and given royal charter status by King Henry III in 1231, Cambridge is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's third-oldest surviving university.
University of Cambridge grew out of an association of scholars who left the University of Oxford after a dispute with the townspeople. The two ancient universities share many common features and are often referred to jointly as Oxbridge.
University of Cambridge is formed from a variety of institutions which include 31 constituent colleges and over 100 academic departments organised into six schools. Cambridge University Press, a department of the university, is the world's oldest publishing house and the second-largest university press in the world. The University of Cambridge also operates eight cultural and scientific museums, including the Fitzwilliam Museum, and a botanic garden. Cambridge's libraries hold a total of around 15 million books, eight million of which are in Cambridge University Library, a legal deposit library.
In the year ended 31 July 2016, the University of Cambridge had a total income of £1.64 billion, of which £462 million was from research grants and contracts. The central university and colleges have a combined endowment of around £5.89 billion, the largest of any university outside the United States. The University of Cambridge is closely linked with the development of the high-tech business cluster known as Silicon Fen. University of Cambridge is a member of numerous associations and forms part of the golden triangle of leading English universities and Cambridge University Health Partners, an academic health science centre.
As of 2017, University of Cambridge is ranked the world's fourth best university by three ranking tables and no other institution in the world ranks in the top 10 for as many subjects. FSX tour (012) Bombardier CRJ700 Land at Glasgow International Airport
The Bombardier CRJ700, CRJ900, and CRJ1000 are regional airliners based on the Bombardier CRJ200. Final assembly of the aircraft is at Montréal-Mirabel International Airport in Mirabel, Quebec, outside Montreal, Canada.[3]
Following the success of the CRJ100/200 series, Bombardier produced larger variants in order to compete with larger regional aircraft such as Embraer's E-Jets, Fokker's F70/100 series, the BAe 146/Avro RJ family and Sukhoi's Superjet 100.
CRJ700 series[edit]
Lufthansa CRJ701 ER
Design work on the CRJ700 by Bombardier started in 1995 and the programme was officially launched in January 1997.[4] The CRJ700 is a stretched 70-seat derivative of the CRJ200. Seating ranges from 66 to 78 for the CRJ700 versions, however. The CRJ700 features a new wing with leading edge slats and a stretched and slightly widened fuselage, with a lowered floor.
The aircraft is equipped with two General Electric CF34-8C1 engines. Maximum speed is Mach 0.85 (556 mi/hr, 895 km/hr) at a maximum altitude of 41,000 feet (12,500 m). Depending upon payload, the CRJ700 can travel up to 2,250 miles (3,620 km) with current engines, and a new variant with CF34-8C5 engines will be able to travel up to 2,895 miles (4,660 km).
United Express CRJ700 operated by GoJet at O'Hare International Airport
The CRJ700 comes in three versions: Series 700, Series 701, and Series 702. The 700 is limited to 68 passengers, the 701 to 70 passengers, and the 702 to 78 passengers. The CRJ700 also has three fuel/weight options: standard, ER, and LR. The ER version has an increase in fuel capacity as well as maximum weight, which in turn increases the range. The LR increases those values further. The executive version is marketed as the Challenger 870.
Its first flight took place on 27 May 1999.[4] The aircraft's FAA Type Certificate designation is the CL-600-2C10.[5] The CRJ700 first entered commercial service with Brit Air in 2001.[4]
The CRJ700 directly competes with the Embraer 170, which typically seats 70 passengers.
In 2008, the CRJ700 was replaced with the CRJ700 NextGen, featuring improved economics and a revised cabin common to the CRJ900 NextGen and CRJ1000 NextGen. In January 2011 SkyWest Airlines ordered four CRJ700 NextGen aircraft.[6]
In 2006, the CRJ700 was featured in Microsoft Flight Simulator X as one of the demo aircraft, with the Learjet 45 and Robinson R22.
CRJ900 and derivative[edit]
Lufthansa CityLine Bombardier CRJ900LR takes off (2010).
The CRJ900 is a stretched 76--90 seat version of the CRJ700. The aircraft features two GE CF34-8C5 engines, 13,360 lbf (59.4 kN) thrust with APR, and added leading edge slats. Max GTOW is 84,500 pounds. The airplane is loosely based on the CRJ200 series with a few major improvements. The environmental packs have a target temperature instead of a hot-cold knob. The cabin has a recirculation fan which aids in cooling and heating. The engines are controlled by FADEC digital engine control instead of control cables and a fuel control unit. The cabin floor has been lowered 2 inches which gains outward visibility from the windows in the cabin as the windows become closer to eye level height. The APU is a Honeywell RE220 unit which supplies much more air to the AC packs and has higher limits for starting and altitude usage. The wingspan is longer, the tail is redesigned with more span and anhedral. In typical service the CRJ900 can cruise 8--10,000 ft higher with a slightly higher fuel burn and an average true airspeed of 450--500 knots, a significant improvement over its predecessor. The FAA Type Certificate designation of the CRJ900 is the CL-600-2D24.
The first CRJ900 (C-FRJX) was modified from the prototype CRJ700 by adding longer fuselage plugs fore and aft; it was later converted into the prototype CRJ1000 by installing yet longer fuselage plugs.[7] The CRJ900 competes with the Embraer 175, and is more efficient per seat-mile, according to Bombardier.[citation needed]. Mesa Air Group was the launch customer for the CRJ900 painted in America West livery.
Scandinavian Airlines was a new customer of the CRJ900 in 2008
In 2007, Bombardier launched the CRJ900 NextGen to replace the initial version. The new model has improved economics and a new cabin common to the CRJ700 NextGen and CRJ1000 NextGen. Mesaba Aviation, operating at the time as Northwest Airlink (now Delta Connection), was the launch customer, and remains the largest operator of the CRJ900 NextGen. The Mesaba fleet of CRJ900 NextGen aircraft are configured in a two class seating configuration, with 12 first class seats and 64 coach seats.
Comair, operating as Delta Connection, has ordered 14 CRJ900s, with at least 6 in service as of Nov 2007.[8] These are in a two class configuration, with 12 first class seats and 64 coach seats. This is due to a limitation in Delta's contract with its pilots which limits its regional carriers to flying 76-seat aircraft.

Armed Gleneagles robber caged for 11 years after fleeing to Brazil to escape justice
An armed robber who took part in a terrifying raid at a luxury hotel was jailed for 11 years and four months after he was brought back from South America to face justice. Dean Jones, 39, was part of a three man gang who staged the smash and grab heist at a jeweller's boutique at the five star Gleneagles Hotel , at Auchterarder , in Perthshire. Jones, his step-brother Liam Richardson and Richard Fleming escaped with 50 Rolex watches worth pounds 516,750 in the robbery on June 27 in 2017. None have been recovered. Fleming, then 42, was jailed for 15 years with a further three years supervision in 2018 and Richardson,30, was sentenced to 11 years and four months. The weekend before Fleming's trial at the High Court in Edinburgh police discovered that the third man, Jones, had boarded a flight from Turkey bound for Brazil. The Brazilian authorities were contacted and he was detained as he disembarked from a plane at Sao Paulo airport on August 17 in 2018. He was subsequently extradited back to the UK last year. Days after the raid he had flown from London to Malaga in Spain and it is believed he then moved on to Morocco before later jetting to South America. He admitted taking part in the robbery with others with faces masked and in possession of hammers, a machete and pistol, placing employees Stephen McIvor and Daniel Horne in a state of fear and alarm for their safety and repeatedly striking and smashing display cabinets at the Mappin and Webb shop, when he appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh today. A judge told him: The robbery was an act of serious, premeditated criminality. It involved significant advance planning with a visit to the hotel some weeks before. Lady Carmichael told Jones: Criminality of this nature will not be tolerated. She said: You removed yourself from the country and as a matter of fact avoided, for a significant period, facing the course of justice for the robbery and there was the necessity for extradition proceedings. Jones and Richardson travelled up to Glasgow two days before the robbery from their home city of London in an Audi that was to be used in the raid. Fleming, a Glaswegian who had settled in London, travelled up by train. On the day of the raid they travelled from Glasgow in convoy with the Audi and a Range Rover Evoque. They drove to the main entrance of the hotel in the Audi A4 and left the vehicle armed with weapons and shouting. Jones and Richardson were each carrying weighted hammers that could smash through security glass and Fleming was armed with the gun and machete. Advocate depute Alex Prentice QC said: All three men were dressed identically in black, including their gloves. They further concealed their identities with masks covering their faces. Jones, as police noted, was wearing his distinctive patterned black and white Nike Cortez training shoes. The entire raid took place in two minutes before they left in the Audi which was abandoned and they swapped to t
