Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Let's play Battlefield Vietnam part 20: Tet Offensive - Saigon 1968
Hello everyone, today I am going to map Saigon - 1968 (also known as Tet 1968). The Tet Offensive of 1968 took place on January 30, 1968 (the night of the 30th of January) when the Saigon Rangers suddenly attacked and Saigon and the subsequent attacks of the Liberation Army hit the southern cities such as Danang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Can Tho, My Tho, .... Although the attack failed, but it has failed strategic '' Local War ' and forced the US military to go down the scale of the war and sit for talks.
Today I will join the NVA (Viet Cong)
A Gift To Change A Child's Life
As Project Vietnam Foundation prepares for its annual medical, dental and surgical mission on February 27, 2016 - March 13, 2016, we aim to increase number of lives that can potentially be changed through the miracles of healthcare in the most rural areas of Vietnam. This holiday season as we celebrate the spirit of giving, let us all take the time to share a gift that will bring hope to the most impoverished children of Vietnam.
Last year, donations and contributions assisted in achieving 72 surgical procedures for children suffering from cleft palate and other deformities. Also, our primary care team provided medical, dental and vision care to 6,100 needy children and adult patients.
This Christmas, for a gift of $25, $50, or any other amount you can provide medicines, medical, dental supplies or surgery supplies, training on pediatric first aid and hygiene at schools and clean water projects for local villagers.
Each donation is a chance to change the lives of those who are in search of hope and each contribution is a gift that will be a miracle for a child in need.

Xi'an is home to some of the best street food in China - with a huge muslim population that eats only halal food, with tons of beef and lamb, noodles, and more, as well as a large Han Chinese population that has it's own distinct Chinese cuisine. Each cuisine has unique recipes and we are showing you how the cooking is done on the street!
Some of the famous Street Food in Xi'an, China is shown in this street food vlog by myself (Trevor James, The Food Ranger).
In this Xi'an series, we're bringing you to try some of the best street food in Xi'an.
In my opinion, Xi'an is a true street food HEAVEN. You can find tons of Islamic Chinese halal food like SPICY lamb kebabs, biang biang noodles, spicy and nutty liangpi jelly noodles, spinach noodles, roujiamo Chinese pita burgers with beef or lamb, and han style roujiamo burgers made with pork as well, along with sweet desserts with dates and ingredients commonly found further west.
I hope that you enjoy this full street food tour of Xi'an. This is just part 1. You're going to love the food if you visit here! Xi'an is a true Chinese street food lovers heaven! You can eat so much, and I always miss the city after I leave. There is just so much food to try! You have to come here to eat!
I also really love the variety of Xi'an noodles you can try. In this street food vlog, we sample the famous spinach noodles, but there is so much more, like Xi'an biang biang noodles, and yangroupaomo rice noodles with beef as well.

DIRTY SECRETS of VIETNAM: Booby Traps & Snares
The descriptions and examples of various types trap devices commonly used by the guerrilla defenders in southeast Asia are explained.
Last FULL DAY of EATING in VIETNAM | Hoi An
Our last full day of eating in Hoi An, Vietnam commenced with a buffet breakfast at the Sincerity Hotel. Choose from a selection of various Vietnamese dishes as well as the special noodle of the day - we had Cao Lau noodles, Mi Quang noodles and Chicken Pho noodles on different days.
This was followed by a bike ride into Old Town where we stopped by the Japanese Bridge for some Bánh bột lọc (clear dumplings) which were filled with mungbeans and shrimp. Absolutely cheap and delicious street food. Aunty was nice enough to let us try a few before buying a bunch.
We went by ‘Quan An Hai’ for some of their popular Mi Quang (Quang Nam style noodles) for lunch. 30K VND ($1.75AUD) for a decent bowl of authentic turmeric noodles filled with shrimp, quail eggs and barbecued pork? Yes please!
Alas, our amazing Vietnam trip was nearing it’s end and we had to rush to Danang Airport for our flight back to HCMC. Being the fatties we are, we tried some Popeyes Fried Chicken. What an end to the trip!
PS: It was so damn humid and hot - we were sweating bucketloads.

Cambodian Street Food - GIANT GRILLED SQUID and MEAT MARATHON in Phnom Penh, Cambodia!
Phnom Penh, Cambodia is a street food paradise!

T-shirts for sale here►
On this Cambodian street food tour of Phnom Penh, I’ll be taking you along to Phnom Penh’s Central Market (Psar Thmei), and a landmark in the center of the city. The market itself is not too impressive in my opinion unless you’re looking for jewelry or overpriced clothes, but the street food court and market on the outside is where you want to be.
There’s an abundance of Cambodian Khmer food and Vietnamese food available at the food court of Central Market, and there’s so much to choose from that it can be challenging to decide where to eat. The colorful selection of herbs and vegetables lead me to the bun rieu noodle stall, a Vietnamese crab noodle dish. We first enjoyed a delicious bowl of bun rieu with all the herbs and chilies we wanted. Bun rieu - 7,000 KHR ($1.70)
On the edge of the market you’ll find some huge grilled squid, and it’s incredibly tempting. I thought it was a little expensive (possibly overcharged), but nevertheless, it was amazingly delicious. Giant grilled squid - $8 USD
Next up you’ll see lots of fruit shake vendors at Central Market in Phnom Penh, I had a durian avocado, and it was amazingly delicious. Durian avocado shake - 6,000 KHR ($1.46)
Cambodian oysters as they are known, but really some type of cockle are a common Cambodian street food in Phnom Penh. They are sun dried and they are actually quite tasty. Clams - 4,000 KHR ($0.97)
Yee-ay Sok Sor - sach ko ang jakak (grilled lemongrass skewers), this place was amazing for their Cambodian grilled lemongrass marinated meat skewers in baguettes. Total price - 36,500 KHR ($8.87)
Dried buffalo (sach krobei) - We had a little miscommunication and ended up ordering quite a bit of dried buffalo. The good news is that it was incredible delicious, and so we were happy to have that much! Price - 55,000 KHR ($13.37) for ½ kg.
Our final stop on this Cambodian street food tour of Phnom Penh, we walked around towards the Old Market, and bumped into a grilling meat stall that was too good to pass up. It wasn’t planned, but today turned into a Cambodian grilled meat marathon. Total meat price - 27,000 KHR ($6.56), Soursop fruit shake - 4,000 KHR ($0.97).
Cambodian has amazing street food, and Phnom Penh is a truly exciting city to eat in!

ABOUT THE FOOD RANGER
My name is Trevor James and I'm a hungry traveler and Mandarin learner that's currently living in Chengdu, Szechuan, China, eating up as much delicious . I enjoy tasting and documenting as many dishes as I can and I'm going to make videos for YOU along the way! Over the next few years, I'm going to travel around the world and document as much food as I can for you! I love delicious food! This channel will show you real Chinese food and real local food, not that stuff they serve in the Buzzfeed challenge. Thanks for watching, and please feel free to leave a comment, suggestion, or critique in the comments below! Please make sure to subscribe, it's the best way to keep my videos in your feed, and give me a thumbs up too if you liked this food video, thanks, I appreciate it!
