The Nightmare World of Gang Stalking
More than 10,000 people worldwide claim they're the victims of a vast organized surveillance effort designed to ruin their lives, a phenomenon known as gang stalking. Mental health experts see gang stalking as a symptom of paranoia, but the self-identified victims who insist what they're experiencing is real have come together online and in support groups to share their stories.
VICE met up with a handful of Americans who claim their lives have been derailed by gang stalking to understand what serious consequences the phenomenon presents. Then we hear from Dr. Josh Bazell, one of many physicians who believes the victims of gang stalking are experiencing dangerous delusions that could be treated by mental health professionals.

A poet I am, and a tale I have. Behold, The City We Live In: Listless and rolling day to day fair but thick with grit and grime. So enters our four suitors one from each corner of the Earth.
In the North was a dark force: Bitter and icy like the Autumn winds that tear life itself from the mountains to the sea. The people of the Northland were split and torn asunder by the religious and political upheaval that swept across them like the hammer of Thor. Among them though was a young and handsome warrior who believed that happiness could be found in simplicity. So he lived simply, charming, plowing and sowing his own fields and made simple offerings to his gods with hope they would do the same for him. His name was Ian Lindsey and found his way to The City We Live In after the bitterness had spoiled the very soil of his home and he was no longer able to survive the harsh winters of the North.
From the south a wayfaring boy by the name of Bradley Bird who like his animal counterpart and namesake would flitter from place to place tangling his heart strings with tethering lines between he, the people and the places he had been. After a few years of flitting and fluttering here and there .the bird found that he himself was tangled and bound to too many things and must cut himself free and find a new life far from the South and the strings. Carefully chosen words he used like a trusted knife to cut the strings free as gently as he could. As of course he alone could know the pain of each snapping away like broken tendons. He marked his map for The City We Live In.
From the East came Cassie Kirkeby. A young lady with the story that mimics the dreams of children. Raised on a diet of discipline and strict education by empty-hearted draconians. She daydreampt of traveling circuses and little girls who did as they pleased. En route to school one foggy morning she thought her eyes were playing tricks when she saw a poster for a carnival. Thought nothing of it and went on until she came across another. No way must her eyes be fooling her twice with the same hallucination! So she stopped and read the poster. See the live pterodactyl! I am Harry Haller and this must be my theater! She cried, as she weighed out the decision to not go to school and follow the posters to the address posted. In the city square was parked the carnival carts with their canvas flaps and traveling brutes. Finding the cage that contained the majestic pterodactyl she spoke to it softly so as not to startle the beast and she slipped between the bars and tucked herself under one leathery wing. The carnival was packing up; Next stop: The City We Live In.
Finally, From the West a minstrel who lived like the poets with the same dream of losing himself in his art. Although no matter the season life for an artist is always a life of serving someone else. Dustin The Caroler was his name and he did just that. He amused courts high and low with mindless carols and driveling ditties. Gossip and words traveled between the courts of kings and landowners rather quickly in the west and so did they to those who traveled between them. Thus our minstrel heard word of The City We Live In, and saved his meager earnings to find manifested his dreams as well.
Hark! Readers be forewarned, the four forces from the four corners of Earth are dwelling among you and I right here in The City We Live In!

Here is what Wikipedia says
is a city in the state of Washington, in the northwestern United States. It is the seat of Spokane County. It is located on the Spokane River west of the Rocky Mountain foothills in eastern Washington, 92 miles (148 km) south of the Canadian border, approximately 20 miles (32 km) from the Washington–Idaho border, and 232 miles (373 km) east of Seattle along Interstate 90. The city and wider Inland Northwest region is served by Spokane International Airport, 5 miles (8.0 km) west of downtown Spokane. According to the 2010 Census, Spokane had a population of 208,916, making it the second largest city in Washington and the 102nd largest city in the United States.
The first humans to live in the area, the Spokane people (their name meaning children of the sun in Salishan), arrived between 13,000 and 8,000 years ago, living off plentiful game. Known as the birthplace of Father's Day, Spokane is officially nicknamed the Lilac City. David Thompson explored the area with the westward expansion and establishment of the North West Company's Spokane House in 1810. This trading post was the first long-term European settlement in Washington. Completion of the Northern Pacific Railway in 1881 brought settlers to the Spokane area, and that same year it was officially incorporated as a city with the name Spokan Falls. In the late 19th century, gold and silver were discovered in the Inland Northwest. The local economy depended on mining, timber, and agriculture until the 1980s. Spokane hosted the first environmentally themed World's Fair at Expo '74.
Many of the older Romanesque Revival-style buildings in the downtown area were designed by architect Kirtland Kelsey Cutter after the Great Fire of 1889. The city also features Riverfront and Manito parks, the Smithsonian-affiliated Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, the Davenport Hotel, and the Fox and Bing Crosby theaters. The Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes serves as the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Spokane, and the city is also the center of the Mormon Spokane Washington Temple District. Gonzaga University was established in 1887 by the Society of Jesus, and the private Presbyterian Whitworth University moved to north Spokane in 1914 from Tacoma, WA.[7] In sports, the Gonzaga Bulldogs collegiate basketball team competes at the Division I level. Professional and semi-professional sports teams include the Spokane Indians in Minor League Baseball, Spokane Shock in arena football, and Spokane Chiefs in junior ice hockey. As of 2010, Spokane's only major daily newspaper, The Spokesman-Review, had a daily circulation of over 75,000.

If you're looking to buy property in Spokane, it's important to note that the city is made up of three main geographical areas: downtown, the Northside and the Southside. The Southside features many of the city's historic neighborhoods, including Browne's Addition, Cannon's Addition, and East Central. The Northside is home to the Hillyard, Logan, Minnehana, Nevawood, North Hill, North Indian Trail, and West Central neighborhoods, and the Gonzaga and Whitworth University campuses, as well as a great many commercial districts. Today, Spokane is a beautiful, diverse, and economically thriving city, and a great place for you and your family to call home. No matter what neighborhood you choose to buy your home in, you're sure to love everything that the city has to offer. A house is a building that functions as a home, ranging from simple dwellings such as rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes and the improvised shacks in shantytowns to complex, fixed structures of wood, brick, concrete or other materials containing plumbing, ventilation and electrical systems.Houses use a range of different roofing systems to keep precipitation such as rain from getting into the dwelling space. Houses may have doors or locks to secure the dwelling space and protect its inhabitants and contents from burglars or other trespassers. Most conventional modern houses in Western cultures will contain one or more bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen or cooking area, and a living room. A house may have a separate dining room, or the eating area may be integrated into another room. Some large houses in North America have a recreation room. In traditional agriculture-oriented societies, domestic animals such as chickens or larger livestock (like cattle) may share part of the house with humans. The social unit that lives in a house is known as a household.

Video documents the monotony of getting from point A to point B and the missed moments of interaction with the built environment.
Too often we forget to experience our city; take a moment and have an emotion about the simple act of opening a door or stepping off a sidewalk. How much richer would your life be if you did this?
Shot in downtown Spokane, all moments were documented on Main Street. Video created by Matthew Reeves and Tyler Troutman for a graduate architecture class at Washington State University in Spokane, WA.
