About us
We fell in love with each other at an RV show and as a result we fell in love with campers too. For years we have been going to RV shows and picking out our favorites and dreaming of the day we would be able to have one of our own. Then in the summer of 2017 after a series of major mishaps (Our car being totaled, pay cuts and layoffs and a trip to the ER) we purchased our first camper, a Jayco Qwest for less than 5000. Then we began the process of downsizing. Now we are living in our camper full time traveling and exploring the RV Lifestyle.

Linville Falls and Duggers Creek Falls, winter 2018
During the winter of 2018, a weeklong span of cold temperatures froze rivers and waterfalls solid throughout the southeastern United States. Much of the Blue Ridge Mountains experienced the deepest freeze seen in more than a decade. Linville Falls froze so thick that ice climbers were able to scale the popular waterfall for the first time in history. Duggers Creek Falls and Linville Falls, near the Linville Gorge, were draped in winter's beauty and frozen solid. Check out the beautiful scenes and don't forget to click to subscribe to stay connected with all of my adventures!

Waterfalls of the NC High Country
Waterfalls are a major Appalachian attraction and the Boone area High Country of North Carolina has some of the best. Triple Falls | Brevard, North Carolina
Dropping 120 feet in three separate cascades, Triple Falls serve as a gorgeous introduction to the Brevard region’s waterfalls.
Triple Falls was Chris and Andrea’s first waterfall viewing experience, but there were plenty more to come, as the trail they followed passes by several more along the way.
Did you know that scenes from The Hunger Games were filmed here? In the dramatic landscapes of waterfalls, hideaway lakes and fishing streams, try to spot Katniss’ pond, the place where Peeta camouflaged himself and traces of pyrotechnics from the fireball sequence.

Hiking Table Rock Mountain at Linville Gorge
View our complete Table Rock trail guide for directions, maps and detailed trail info:
Summit the rocky, craggy, iconic mountaintop of Table Rock Mountain on Linville Gorge's eastern rim, climbing through a scraggy forest of laurel, moss and rhododendron on this just-under-two-mile adventure. Views from the summit are sweeping and simply outstanding, extending far, wide, and deep into the surrounding gorge. The mountain's sun-drenched, rocky summit is ultra-popular with climbers and hikers alike. And the views are arguably some of the best in western NC, if not the entire southeast.

CATAWBA FALLS - Old Fort, NC
Catawba Falls is a series of waterfalls on the headwaters of the Catawba River, in McDowell County, near Old Fort, North Carolina. Support my channel by shopping at my website. I will earn a small commission from each purchase. The link is
After years of being off limits, the 100-ft. tall Catawba Falls is now open to the public - complete with two new trail bridges in 2016. It's located near Old Fort (26 miles east of Asheville, just three miles off I-40). The 1.5-mile hike (3 miles round-trip) is a steady and slightly uphill walk, but is not difficult. It follows the Catawba River, with many smaller cascades along the way. It's a beautiful trail, with sounds of rushing water and short side trails to see it
Catawba Falls is part of the Pisgah National Forest. For many years, while the falls were located on public land, visitor access to the falls was heavily restricted. The only access points to the falls were a trail that went through private property, and an access point off of Interstate 40. Use of either access point was illegal.
In 2005 and 2007, the US Forest Service purchased 88 acres (360,000 m2) of land at the end of Catawba River Road for a trailhead. In 2010, access to the falls was officially opened to the public. In 2012, a new parking area was built by the Forest Service. The Forest Service plans further improvements, including a foot bridge over a tricky crossing of the river along the trail and a new trail to the upper falls, bypassing a section considered steep and dangerous
Chasing Waterfalls ~ North Carolina Waterfall Tour
Recently me & Wifey decided to take a weekend trip to see as many NC waterfalls as possible in the Asheville, NC area. Western NC has an abundance of beautiful waterfalls. We estimated our trip would be around 200 miles round-trip starting in Asheville.
We ended up visiting 8 waterfalls. Some of these waterfalls require quite long hikes because they were remote. It was a very fun and tiring trip. We saw a lot of beautiful scenery and now we are pumped to visit even more waterfalls all over North Carolina.
The 8 waterfalls we visited:
Linville Waterfalls
Crabtree Falls
Roaring Fork Falls
Soco Falls
Mingo Falls
Juney Whank Falls
Toms Branch Falls
Indian Creek Falls
The last 3 waterfalls were located in Smokey Mountains ark in Bryson City, NC.
I used an iPhone 5 and a Canon 60D to shoot all of this video.
I hope you enjoy the video. Fell free to share with others and subscribe to catch all of our adventures.
