One woman was killed and another injured after a pair of tigers pounced on them at Beijing's Badaling Wildlife Park on Saturday afternoon.
The tigers attacked one of the women when she left her vehicle and walked a few meters away from the car. The surveillance video footage shows the woman being dragged by the tiger, which prompted the second woman, who later turned out to be her mother, to rush for help. However, she didn't survive the attack.
While the park allows visitors to drive their own cars in a safari-style tour, they are prohibited to get out as the animals roam freely through the park. But the first woman got out of the car after an alleged argument, putting her life at risk, according to several media reports.
The park has been closed for the time being. But the weekend attack wasn’t the first. In August 2014, a security guard was killed in a tiger attack at the same park.

China - Tigers and leopards born in Beijing Zoo
T/I: 11:14:28
The Year of the Tiger welcomed the birth of four baby Manchurian Tiger cubs at the Beijing Zoo on May 1st. Sunday (14/6), one and a half months after the birth, a naming ceremony was given to present the cubs to the public for the first time and also to announce their names. The Beijing Zoo sponsored a nationwide contest for Chinese citizens to help name the four female cubs. Hu Niu, Hu Ya, Hu Nan, and Hu Ni are the new names that were given by a fifth grader named Lee Cheng Hui. Another breeding program at the Beijing Zoo saw the birth of three snow leopards on May 17. A species that is also facing exctinction, these young cubs suffered grave danger immediately after their birth, when their mother refused to nurse them. The zookeepers were successul in finding a surrogate mother, a loving Japanese Long Muzzled Fox Hound, a dog who is nursing her own three pups along with the baby snow leopards.

Tigers Kill One Tourist, Injure Another at Beijing Wildlife Park
A female tourist has been killed and another female injured after they were mauled by tigers while on a safari tour at Badaling Wildlife Park in Beijing on Saturday afternoon.
Surveillance video shot at around 15:00 shows a women getting out of a white sedan after it stops in the tiger enclosure.
As she walks to the driver's side door and opens it, a tiger suddenly attacks her from behind and drags her off.
The male driver of the sedan immediately chases after them and then a female passenger also exits the vehicle to join the rescue attempt.
Meanwhile, a jeep belonging to the park speeds towards the woman to try to save her.
Unfortunately, the second woman was killed by another tiger.
The zoo has now closed to the public as investigations continue.
Badaling Wildlife World, located at the foot of the Badaling section of the Great Wall, is one of the largest zoos of its kind in China.
The park is well-known for rearing large groups of dangerous predatory animals that roam wide open areas through which tourists can drive their own cars on safari-style tours.
According to the rules of the zoo, all tourists must keep their car doors locked and windows fully closed while in the park.

Woman Climbs Over Tiger's Fence at The Zoo To Get Her Hat Back
More from Inside Edition:
A woman is caught on camera at the Toronto Zoo climbing into a tiger's pen to get her hat that flew off her head. Once she climbs back over to a safe area, the tiger that's kept in a second fence stays close to where all the visitors were watching from. The woman then gets into an argument with a man who watched the whole thing go down. Another woman tries to break it up. The zoo told CBC News it's now investigating what happened saying the situation could have been much worse.
