I just drove around the neighborhood and took photos of all the Krabi Rentals and Krabi houses, townhomes, container homes, and duplexes that had FOR SALE or FOR RENT signs on them. This was done October 2017. If you cannot read the phone number on the video, let me know and I'll send it to you.
Housing in Krabi is expensive, some say it is more expensive than Phuket. For some areas, yes, I think that's true. Maybe not overall though. There is very little housing - houses, homes, rentals, available in Krabi - it's always difficult to find something that you want AND something that is within your price range to pay per month.
Most places are furnished in Krabi if over 10,000 THB.
Most of the houses and townhomes in this video are located in the north part of town - down Maharat and Krabi Roads toward the Talad Gaew Intersection.

Personally, I think that Krabi province in Southern Thailand has more to do than any other province in the country, except maybe Phuket - which is a tie. Phuket has the nightlife and Krabi has the peace of mind, the abundance of natural wilderness exploration locations, national parks, and laid back atmosphere.
If you are considering moving to Thailand to live you should check out all parts of the country and decide which is the better place to retire to - or you can stay a couple years in the northeast, couple years in the north, couple in Bangkok, couple in the islands, couple in the south - and do it all again.

The Beauty of Wander takes in the beauty of Krabi, Thailand. We stuffed our faces at the Krabi Town Night Market, ventured out on our first motorbike of our trip, and mastered the 1260 (yes, 1260) steps at the Tiger Cave Temple in the refreshing rain. Krabi, on southern Thailand’s west coast, is a province characterized by craggy, sheer limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests, and more than a hundred offshore islands. Some of its most popular beach destinations include the Phi Phi Islands, which jut from the sea like giant rainforested boulders, and Railay Beach, accessible only by boat and a prominent rock-climbing spot.
Phuket, a rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea, has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, mainly situated along the clear waters of the western shore. The island is home to many high-end seaside resorts, spas and restaurants. Phuket City, the capital, has old shophouses and busy markets. Patong, the main resort town, has many nightclubs, bars and discos. (ccto)

KRABI FLOOD JANUARY 2017. น้ำท่วม กระบี่ประเทศไทย
We didn't get hit anything like some other Southern Thailand
กระบี่ประเทศไทย provinces, but today we got hammered pretty good. It was raining at a 6-7 inches per day rate. I know because I had a couple of those days in Miami where it rained all day like it did today. We got it for 10 hours or so.
In Krabi, it rarely floods - so, today was quite a site. I had to go out and capture some footage on the GoPro camera. What happened was, there were some spots that were really flooded out, and then in Krabi Town - nothing. No flooding at all. It was great really because nobody in town had to deal with it. However, Uttaradit Road - the River Road - was surely flooded in some spots. I didn't hear whether the Krabi airport was closed, but I'm sure it was for a while. Right now it's 7 pm and only a very light rain. Radar shows more rain and storms coming, but it could miss us, or hammer us. No idea yet.
Some of the areas by the mountains - Khao Phanom - always flood, so all those places will be off limits for a few days. The Huay Toh Waterfall must be gushing hard - and will be cool to see in a day or so after the rain stops.
In January we very rarely get heavy rain. I can't remember any heavy rain in 9 years here in Jan, so this was really odd.
If you're coming to Krabi in January, check the weather first, but usually you're fine - all the way through September. Sept, Oct, November we can have some heavy storms.

タイ クラビ のタイガーケーブ寺院で1237の階段に登ったあと クラビタウンを散歩しました。 アオナン ビーチ周辺の観光地ムードとは違いクラビタウンはローカル感が強い感じがします。
アオナンビーチ周辺はオシャレでムードもあるけど なんでも観光地価格、 しかし こちらクラビタウンは安いレストランも見つけやすく 価格的には過ごしやすい。
ムードのあるアオナンビーチ、 ローカルな街並みで安いレストランも多いクラビタウン。どちらにも それぞれに良さがある。 クラビ へ来られる予定のある方は クラビタウンにも１〜２泊するのもイイかも。 ボクなら 次回は そうします。

Breathtaking views to and offer themselves in Krabi everywhere. The fine sandy beaches facing the turquoise sea to shining are also likely to belong to the most beautiful, our planet has to offen.

1. Where do you live?: I am based in Edmonton, Alberta & was born & raised in Peterborough, Ontario ... Canada ;)

3. How do you make money?: Again, all of my income is currently through TL Travel (not youtube.) The content that I create is simply to share my passion with all of you, but of course I am always open to collaborations & other related opportunities.
4. What editing program do you use?: Premier Pro CS6
5. What camera do you use?: For nicer shots and a lot of my vlogs I film with the Canon 70D. When I am on the road & need a bit more waterproof/ drop proof abilities I film with both GoPro & the Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3

6. Did you go to university?: I did. I went to Trent University in Peterborough, Canada & got my BA in Cultural Studies. Everything else unrelated I learned by myself on the internet.
7. How long does it take to edit 1 video?: It is different from one video to another but on average I spend around 2 hours editing each video from start to finish.
8. What are your favorite countries to visit?: I have many favorites but right now Thailand, Nicaragua & Indonesia are at the top of my list of fav.'s
9. What countries are on your bucket list?: New Zealand & India are two that I can't wait to visit one day.
10. What youtubers do you watch?: I watch a ton of different vloggers but Fun For Louis & Raya are 2 of my favorites along with Ben Brown and Craig & Aimee.

Krabi Things To Do? Huay Toh Waterfall! (Krabi, Thailand)
Krabi Thailand Waterfall called Huay Toh.
Khao Phanom Bencha National park is the site of this cool waterfall and jungle trek, complete with viewpoint and another, smaller water fall.
Price to get in is currently just 100 THB for foreigners and 20 THB for Thais. If there are only Thais entering the park - it is free. Once a foreigner is seen - the entire group gets charged. Go figure, right? Such is life in Thailand. It has been like this all 7 years I've been here.
Huay Toh waterfall is a multi-tiered waterfall located about 27 kilometers outside Krabi town at the western base of Khao Phanom Bencha mountain peak.
The park is quite amazing, and the waterfall is worth the walk. I say in the video it's about 350m, but maybe the walk is more like 450 meters to reach the falls.
The water is clean and you can swim in the various pools. The falls are seen here on November 14th. We haven't had a good rain in about 2 weeks prior, so you can see - there is still enough water to make it worthwhile. During the height of the dry season the water is considerably less - and maybe not worth visiting this attraction during that time.
I apologize for the bouncy video. I thought the vibration reduction worked better than it shows here. I'll concentrate more on keeping steady videos from now on.

After a quick street style breakfast, we took a public bus into Krabi Town. It is a 20 minute ride into Krabi Town where we checked into Pak-Up Hostel.
We walked around to some nearby temples and stumbled on a street festival at the waterfront where we snacked on some great treats!

Cheyanne + Shane / Journey of Love by the Sea / Krabi, Thailand
They say that a wedding is about a love between two people. Yet, so many other elements have all played their part in delivering them to this special spot on this special day. It's unfolding these stories and relationships that make each project unique. To see a beautiful cake and wonderful people at the wedding reception is other thing but to have it on the beach with ideal weather makes it all more memorable. Everything, even the seemingly ordinary, becomes so enchanting and full of life.
The beach setting in Thailand is ideal to a couple that wants a wedding by the ocean. We picked Aonang, Krabi because it is a place that has good weather and within close proximity to our home. It is this special location where I proposed to Cheyanne in 2012. This was a touching moment that moved us. Then later in that year we went back to the beautiful beach of Aonang for our beach wedding.
The task of getting our families and close friends to this location was relatively easy. The renown sandy beaches, delicious Thai food and beautiful nearby islands made this a relaxing place for everyone. While everyone was together, the group had several gathering for meals and went out to the islands for some fun and relaxation.
The moments in Aonang, Krabi was special as there was guest that visited from various parts of the world. To bring a group of families and friends from all over to a little beach town was memorable for Cheyanne and I. To share this special time together made one of the most fascinating periods in our lives. We hope this video can show case the delightful time we had in our Journey of Love by the Sea.
