Police On The Hunt For Johor Bahru Murder Suspects
The police have identified four suspects involved in the murder of a man at a petrol station in Jalan Sri Pelangi, Taman Pelangi, in Johor Bahru, on Sunday night.
Johor Police Chief Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd said efforts were actively being made to track down and arrest the four of them.
Datuk Khalil said investigations revealed that the BMW 520i vehicle with the serial number WB79l used by the suspects had a registration number that did not belong to them.
He said the original owner had been detected and after interviewing the owner, the police found that the person had nothing to do with the case
He also disclosed that the autopsy carried out by the Sultanah Aminah Hospital revealed that the victim had died due to a stab wound to the heart.
The 7.30 pm incident occured when the victim who was travelling in a volkswagen car with his foreign wife stopped at the petrol station.
The BMW then sped out of the station, stopping briefly for one of the assailants to enter the car before fleeing.
The woman, who ran away to get help during the attack, was unhurt.
The victim’s identity, however, has yet been disclosed by the police and information on the woman is also unavailable.
The whole incident was captured on video by a witness and went viral on social media.

Six people were killed and nine injured in a car bomb blast at a car repair shop near the city of Peshawar in western Pakistan on Thursday (January 23).
The attack took place at a car shop in the Scheme Chowk area outside Peshawar on Kohat Road. A bomb disposal unit estimated that up to 30 kg of explosives and ball bearings had been fitted into the car before the explosion took place.
The car shop and several vehicles in the vicinity were destroyed. Several residential buildings, shops and a cellphone tower were damaged.
There was a loud band and I saw huge flames coming out of the motor workshop and then I fell to the ground, Shahidullah, owner of a nearby drinks shop, said in an AFP report.
It was reported that two days earlier, a man had parked the car at the shop for repairs. Police are not ruling out the possibility that the bomb had been installed in the car after it was left at the shop. Investigators said it is also possible that the car shop was the target of the attack.
In recent weeks there has been a sharp increase in incidents of terrorist attacks in Pakistan. No militant group has taken responsibility for the attack on the car shop.

Bersih 2.0 - at Menara Maybank (Part 1).mp4
IGP says 6000; Najib says 10,000, Utusan says beratus ratus. What do you expect from liars. See for yourself how many are there. (I estimate this crowd to be around 20,000 to 30,000 - many more are hidden to the left and right and also by the buildings in front. They are also behind me.) This is only at Menara Maybank. The protesters are also at KL Sentral, KLCC, Masjid Negara, Masjid Jamek, etc. and small groups scattered here and there. There is also a total lockdown on KL, making it difficult for people to enter the city (no traffic can enter and public transports are shut down---consequently roads are almost empty), yet thousands upon thousands sneak in through the cordon to protest most loudly. See for yourself.
It was electrifying to see the unity of all the races--an experience I will never forget.
No window was broken. No street lamp was broken. No car was burn. Not even a stone was thrown. The crowd was superb in their conduct. They were disciplined. The only violence came from the police. The FRU shot tear gas at them every where they ran, even into a maternity hospital (Tung Shin). The police chased them like rats all over the place. Still they did not fight back. In spite of police's violence, the people did not retaliate. They were peaceful and disciplined. (See part 2
I am proud of all who took part. They have exposed the nastiness, the wickedness, the ugliness, and the lies of the government. (If not for the crackdown, clampdown and lockdown of KL, perhaps ten times the numbers would have turned up.)
I am glad I was there to observe and experience this historical moment. They came from all over Malaysia---Kedah, Johor, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Pahang, Melaka, etc. From today, I believe a new dawn has begun for the rakyat. As the crowd shouted, Hidup Rakyat. Najib - dare you to call for election now?
