INTERVIEW BY AMITAI WINEHOUSE: Alex Rodriguez is confident. On this rainy Monday morning in east London, looking over West Ham's ground, he can see the American Dream coming into view. Next year, Major League Baseball will bring two games to the London Stadium. Not just any games either - the London Series in June 2019 will see the Boston Red Sox face the New York Yankees. It is the first time any MLB games have been played in Europe, and for most people in the country, their first exposure to the game. In a sense - even if the average person in the UK has never heard of Babe Ruth, they've seen a Yankees cap.

It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile medieval boundaries.

I have witnessed history at London Stadium, on the first major league baseball game that ever played in Europe!
This game was epic! The atmosphere was epic! This weekend was epic!
The two most iconic franchises of baseball came to UK to battle for the inaugural London series.
And of course the world's greatest ballhawk, Zack Hample has been to these games too. (He is a really cool guy, btw)
