Buffalo National River - Eden Falls Cave
This was a hike for the ages. I made the stop at Lost Valley in the gorgeous Buffalo National River in Arkansas, hoping to get some great pictures and video footage of Eden Falls. What I found absolutely blew my mind. I hiked the well-established trail along Clark Creek until I found the Natural Bridge and a few small caves. I then stumbled upon the enormous Cob Cave. Water was falling everywhere along the top of the cave. I took in the beauty of the enormous Eden Falls for a short time. After that, I found the best part. I hiked to the top of the waterfall and explored Eden Falls Cave. About 200 feet into the cave, there was an underground 40-foot waterfall that was roaring. It was was a true Goonies style hike. This is instantly my all-time favorite hike.

Ponca, Arkansas (Buffalo Outdoor Center)
This is one of Todd Peterson's favorite places to visit in Arkansas.
Ponca International is a nice smooth strip about 1,200 foot long with a hill at the end. Under normal conditions I would consider it to be a one way strip and the approach is over a valley so make sure you don’t get too low on the approach. CTAF 123.45

Buffalo Nat'l River - Eden Cave Falls
Here is a video from when I took the boys to Northwest Arkansas to chase some waterfalls. I showed them my #1 all-time hike, the Lost Valley Trail. We followed the trail along Clark Creek and I let the boys swim in several small waterfalls. We checked out Jigsaw Rock, the Natural Bridge and the waterfall that flows underneath it, Eden Falls, Cob Cave, and the best part.... I took my two youngest deep into the back of Eden Cave to check out the underground waterfall. I took a spotlight with me this time so I could get better footage of the underground falls, which is in pitch black. The boys had a blast.
