The things you do - Islington
A band that recorded a demo in 1979. Work colleagues who worked at Burlington Klopman, Argyll Street, London and who formed a band and played together in a recording studio in Islington, London.
Nothing came of it, but the sound has been captured forever.
The band name has been made up by Michael de Groot, as the band never had a name as far as he can remember.

An Introduction to One True Voice
One True Voice (OTV) is a charity founded by Somali women to support Somali girls and women. We help Somali women of all ages to understand, cope with and resolve the particular challenges they face in British and Somali society.
We are based in Islington in London, and our work is primarily in the UK but we also have links to Somalia. There are about 100,000 Somali women living in the UK, of whom about 80,000 live in London.
Why One True Voice? Because we believe in telling the truth. OTV comprises dedicated women who believe strongly that their role is to help other Somali women to become independent members of British society.

Rock Music : FM - Face To Face and 'That Girl'

FM are a British AOR/hard rock band. In the U.S., they are often referred to as FMUK. They have released eleven albums to date. Two of those, Indiscreet and Tough It Out reached the UK Albums Chart, whilst five of the band's singles made inroads into the UK Singles Chart.
The two songs featured are from their earlier Albums with Face to Face being one of my favourite FM Songs so really pleased it was played on the night.
