Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (also referred to as LMU or the University of Munich, in German: Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München) is a public research university located in Munich, Germany.
The University of Munich is Germany's sixth-oldest university in continuous operation.[n 1] Originally established in Ingolstadt in 1472 by Duke Ludwig IX of Bavaria-Landshut, the university was moved in 1800 to Landshut by King Maximilian I of Bavaria when Ingolstadt was threatened by the French, before being relocated to its present-day location in Munich in 1826 by King Ludwig I of Bavaria. In 1802, the university was officially named Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität by King Maximilian I of Bavaria in his as well as the university's original founder's honour.
The University of Munich is associated with 42 Nobel laureates (as of October 2019). Among these were Wilhelm Röntgen, Max Planck, Werner Heisenberg, Otto Hahn and Thomas Mann. Pope Benedict XVI was also a student and professor at the university. The LMU has recently been conferred the title of University of Excellence under the German Universities Excellence Initiative.
LMU is currently the second-largest university in Germany in terms of student population; in the winter semester of 2015/2016, the university had a total of 51,025 matriculated students. Of these, 8,671 were freshmen while international students totalled 7,812 or almost 15% of the student population. As for operating budget, the university records in 2017 a total of 682.0 million euros in funding without the university hospital; with the university hospital, the university has a total funding amounting to approximately 1.8 billion euros.

Getting Admission in one of the Best German University
Ludwig Maximilian University Munich Germany.
1. LMU is rated as the best university in Germany, as per the World University Ranking 2018 compiled by the Times Higher Education magazine
2. LMU is recognized as one of Europe's premier academic and research institutions
3. LMU has almost 8,000 international students from 125 countries, the largest number at any German university
4. It provides a well-rounded education, with an emphasis on intellectual depth, social skills, subject-specific expertise and a strong commitment to human values
5. LMU offers over 200-degree programs and plenty of summer and exchange programs

Both TUM and LMU are regarded as the best universities in Germany. Both universities are likely to be popular with international students, offering highly prestigious education, which for all students will be free of charge.
Apart from being regarded as one of the best university in Germany LMU is quite open to International students from around the world and 2017/18 stats show more than 8000 international students are part of LMU and high percentage among them are Girls.
LMU also offers a growing number of English taught Master Programs for international students and for German students pursuing an international career. Applicants for one of the following programs must prove excellent English proficiency.
So how how can you get admission on of the best German University?

Admission Requirements:
1. You need Bachelor’s degree with grade of 2.3 or better according
to German Grading system. Which generally means your
bachelors degree should percentage above 80 but this varies
according to different countries and universities grading system.
2. For this program you need a bachelor degree in business
administration, Informatics or related field.
3. As the program is English taught so you must have C1 level of
English which translates to 7 bands in IELTS. You don’t need IELTS
or TOEFL if English is your mother tongue.
A last advice is to apply for a German Visa if you need one as early as possible. As you need to be present in the assessment event failing to attend, which your application stands rejected.
