Cột cờ Lũng Cú là một cột cờ quốc gia nằm ở đỉnh Lũng Cú hay còn gọi là đỉnh núi Rồng (Long Sơn) có độ cao khoảng 1.470 m so với mực nước biển, thuộc xã Lũng Cú, huyện Đồng Văn, tỉnh Hà Giang, nơi Đài vọng cảnh cực Bắc Việt Nam_cách cực Bắc Việt Nam khoảng 3,3Km theo đường chim bay.
Là một cột cờ quốc gia nằm ở đỉnh Lũng Cú hay còn gọi là đỉnh núi Rồng. Có độ cao khoảng 1.470 m so với mực nước biển, thuộc xã Lũng Cú, huyện Đồng Văn, tỉnh Hà Giang, điểm cực Bắc của Tổ Quốc. Cột cờ Lũng Cú có lịch sử từ rất lâu đời.

Lung Cu is located in Dong Van District, 200km from the center of Ha Giang Borough with a natural area of 3,460 ha. Visitors are attracted by magnificent mountains hiding in the cloud as well as the Flag Tower on top of Dragon Mountain (Long Son), terraces of the local resident and Lo Lo Lake. Also, the winter in this place is very cold so that visiting Lung Cu in that time can give tourists a chance to witness real white snow covering the forests and mountains here.
Of Culture and Nature
Lung Cu population consists of many ethnic groups with different and diverse features in culture, beliefs and practices. People here mostly grow rice on the unique terraces and milpas, and even Mong and Lo Lo communities here still practice the traditional textile methods. Traditional features in cultures of these ethnic groups are very diverse and interesting. Many travelers are attracted here to explore these unique aspects of the community.
Many cultural features of ethnic groups here were influenced by the Vietnamese culture, like the silver drum of the Lo Lo which originated from the silver drum of Dong Son. Moreover, Lung Cu is famous by many special foods and drink such as corn alcohol, honey alcohol and “Thang Co” (a kind of soup that Is cooked with almost every part of an animal such as pork, beef, horse…)

Lung Cu Flag Tower (Ha Giang) - view from above
Lung Cu is Vietnam’s northernmost point. After climbing 529 steps that take you to the top of the tower you will have a breathtaking view over the valleys and into nearby China. The national flag is 54 meters in area which represents the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam. At the foot of the tower there is a museum displaying production tools, costumes and cultural products of ethnic groups in Ha Giang.
Lung Cu Flag Tower - Ha Giang
From Ha Giang, following national Highway 4C to the Northeast for 160km, travelers might arrive at Dong Van District. Continue the trek on an asphalted road for another 40km to reach Lung Cu peak.
Viewing from a far, Lung Cu appears as a rocky area, highlighted by a high flag tower with a catchy red flag of Vietnam, which is surrounded by lush green forests. The total are of Lung Cu Town is 3,460 ha, which is divided into 9 villages: Lo Lo Chai, Seo Lung, Ta Gia Khau Can Tang, Then Van, Then Sa, Si Man Khan, San Cho, San Sa Phin. Here, people live mainly on farming and weaving. These villages are ideal for trekking tour around Lung Cu.

We took a day trip from Dong Van while doing the Ha Giang loop and it was such an incredible ride! We drove from Dong Van, Vietnam to the Lung Cu Flag Tower through Vietnam's Northern Mountains. The Ha Giang Loop is one of best things to do in northern vietnam. When looking for things to see in Dong Van Vietnam, the Lung Cu Flag Point is only a two hour drive from Dong Van- Making it the perfect day trip from Dong Van.

????Lũng Cú Flag Tower (Vietnamese: Cột cờ Lũng Cú) is a monument in northern Vietnam. It is located in Lũng Cú commune of Dong Van district in Ha Giang province. The monument consists of a 30-metre tall (98 ft) tower on the summit of Lũng Cú Peak (over 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) above sea level). The tower is topped with a large Vietnamese flag. The monument was built to mark the northernmost point in Vietnam, although the farthest north point on the Chinese-Vietnamese border is actually located over 3.3 km (2.1 mi) farther north.

A Trip to the Lung Cu Flag Tower (Vietnam Vlog 2016)
This video shows the journey to Lung Cu Flag Pole, the towering structure on the northern border of Vietnam.
The tower itself is impressive, but the true beauty of the Lung Cu journey is the view from the top of the flag pole, which can be climbed (though not without some effort). The drive from Dong Van city to Lung Cu is also breathtaking.
It's recommended to do the Lung Cu Flag Tower drive by motorbike.
This video will show you what this drive is like, as well as offering tips for the Lung Cu journey.

- Cột cờ Lũng Cú tọa lạc trên đỉnh núi Rồng độ cao 1.700 m, thuộc xã Lũng Cú, huyện Đồng Văn, tỉnh Hà Giang, cách thị trấn Đồng Văn 26 km, cách Tp. Hà Giang khoảng 150 km, cách cột mốc biên giới 423 khoảng 2 km đường bộ.
- Đây được xác định là điểm cực Bắc của Tổ Quốc Việt Nam., là địa điểm không thể thiếu trong hành trình chinh phục vùng cao nguyên đá Đồng Văn.
- Từ bãi đỗ xe bên dưới, du khách leo 425 bậc tam cấp đến quầy bán vé, tại đây có trạm dừng nghỉ, có nhà vệ sinh và bán đồ lưu niệm. Từ quầy vé, leo tiếp 279 bậc tam cấp là đến với chân cột cờ. Từ chân cột cờ lên đỉnh cột cờ đi thêm 135 bậc. Như vậy, từ bãi đỗ xe đến đỉnh cột cờ tổng cộng là 839 bậc.
