It caught my view last night as I was looking at the observertoy tower which has been decorated with neon lights for the season and all of a sudden this thing just hovered right in front like over the tower with glowing colors I've never seen before...

Was thinking we're about to get some great footage of Matt going through the rolls he's learned so far. Unfortunately for all of us, it didn't quite go that way. Had some crazy interference that was trashing my live video feed. I couldn't frame a shot to save my life. I don't know what the power company has running in that area, but even 100' away from my Phantom, the camera feed was so choppy, I'm lucky I got anything at all.
Here's what I did manage to capture. Matt has come a long way since his first roll! Good job!

Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, Massachusetts
I often take a walk in nearby historic Pine Grove Cemetery. It's a peaceful oasis in a busy urban setting. It can be quite beautiful in any of the four seasons. I shot this at the end of March, 2013 when a persistent winter was pushing to keep spring weather at bay. It is sobering to note the history of our nations wars represented throughout the cemetery, the Civil War, Spanish/American, WW I & II, Korea and Vietnam.
From the cemeteries web site: The cemetery consists of approximately 250 acres of which 82 developed and houses between 88,000 and 90,000 interments. The cemetery has been recorded in Ripley's Believe It or Not as the second longest contiguous stone wall in the world, second only to the Great Wall of China. The wall is built of fieldstone and was built by the WPA in the 1930's.

In the comments section, if you have any recommendations of events I should go and take videos of, please write them down. The closer it is to Boston, the more likely I'll go if I feel like it (Unless somebody wants to cover the transportation costs and room. In that case, I'm willing to travel almost anywhere around the world.) but I do sometimes travel outside of Massachusetts. For example I might go to New York next month to take videos of the Dragon Boat Festival / Races.
