St. Petersburg - Field of Mars
The Field of Mars or Marsovo Polye (Russian: Ма́рсово по́ле) is a large park named after Mars, the Roman god of war, situated in the center of Saint-Petersburg, with an area of about 9 hectares. Bordering the Field of Mars to the north are the Marble (Mramorny) Palace, Suvorova Square and Betskoi’s, Ficquelmont and Saltykov’s houses. To the west are the Barracks of the Pavlovsky Regiment. The Moyka River forms the boundary to the south.

Welcome to Saint Petersburg, the most beautiful and mysterious city!
This tour is devoted to the triangle of death, connected with the reign of Russian monarchs and the places of their assassination. We’ll start with the Field of Mars.
Then we will go to the Summer garden, where you can feel the atmosphere of Peter’s time. A Garden with a collection of sculptures and the Summer Palace, that was the first Emperor’s residence constitute a museum complex.
After a short relaxation, we’ll get in touch with another tragic page of the city’s history. St. Michael’s castle is a former royal residence in the historic center of Saint Petersburg.
The last point of our tour is the Church on Spilled Blood.
