Ginger Valentine has 20 years of performance experience in a variety of dance styles, most notably classical ballet and burlesque striptease. She is a producer of the Ruby Revue, a monthly burlesque show at the House of Blues in Dallas, and the Dallas Burlesque Festival. In early 2009, she founded the Ginger Valentine Burlesque Charm School where she encourages women of all ages, shapes and sizes to release their inner burly-queen. Ginger is featured regularly in the media for her accomplishments on the stage as well as her Burlesque Charm School. Ginger won Best Tease at the 2010 Texas Burlesque Festival and the award for One to Watch at Hot Rods and Heels in 2009. In the Summer of 2010 she was selected to compete against some of the most recognizable faces in Neo Burlesque for the title of Queen of Burlesque in the New Orleans Burlesque Festival. Ginger has performed extensively in New Orleans and other cities around the nation such as Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Austin and Houston. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and when she visits Nola, you can find her indulging in her favorite ice cream spot in the country: the Creole Creamery.
