It seems like the most ordinary thing ever for those who live here but it can definitely impress any outsider.
There are all kinds of underground malls, the most common being food and apparel related.
From a quick meal to a fun time out, they are handy for the locals and a true experience of the metropolitans everyday life for the tourists.

I took a tour around the Yiwu Industrial Trade City - the largest wholesale market in the world. People come here from every country to buy goods to export. 5.5 million square meters, 7km long, this market is beyond giant. And it's all one interconnected building. I explored it for a day with Collin Abroadcast, a fellow market fanatic. From Christmas decorations to children's toys to hardware and tools, we found a bunch of stuff that blew our minds.

Though dirty, this thing is speedy! There are tons of these elevators everywhere that go to The Mall of The World-one of the largest underground malls in the world. Unfortunately, more than half of them are broken or have been decommissioned. The mall isn't dead or anything, they just don't maintain them. When they break, I guess they break and never get fixed. This elevator has floor cancelation, which is always a nice feature to have. I start the video off with awesome views and Guangzhou's landmark-Canton Tower!

Chinese wholesale market/mall w 23 Floors. Yes. It's real. It felt like walking thru Alibaba .com lol... I think a lot of the sellers in here are just wholesalers who take orders from sites like Aliexpress.com, alibaba.com, globalsources.com and other wholesale sites around the world.. bc they are always packing up boxes ...... well everywhere around the outskirts of the city of Guangzhou all you see are people moving boxes around haha..... was this better than just scouting for new product ideas on Alibaba.com? Not sure.. sometimes you can get lucky and find that amazingly cool thing.. but that can happen online too.... nonetheless it was a good experience to try out and see what the wholesale scene it all about.

First off I do not condone the production sale or purchasing of counterfeit items! I check out what the fashion is like and whats hype hot and trending over here in Guangzhou China to show the rest of the world how things are. From Yeezy sneakers to Jordan Sneakers this market has it all, Oh did I forget to mention streetwear such as fear of god, supreme, and bape. However during this time of year when Canton fair is running and everyone comes to town the market and the shops in it get crowded and pretty bad hence why this is a short video and you guys should check out some of my older ones.

Location of Walk:
Guangzhou Tianhe Info:
Tianhe District (Chinese: 天河区) is one of the eleven districts of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province. In Chinese, the name Tianhe literally means a river in the sky/heavens, which is also a Chinese name for the Milky Way. It is bordered by Yuexiu District on the west, Baiyun District on the north and Huangpu District on the east. Haizhu District is on its south, though they are separated by the Pearl River.
Tianhe became a district in the 1980s as the city expanded its size. Back then, it was east of Dongshan District (which was merged into Yuexiu in 2005) and it was more suburban-like if not rural like. Even though a majority of colleges and universities in the city were located in the district, the rest of the district was mostly composed of rice fields.
Symbolic landmarks of Guangzhou located in Tianhe District are Citic Plaza, Guangzhou International Finance Center, Guangzhou Opera House, and the Guangdong Museum. The 6th and 9th of The National Games of the People's Republic of China and the 2010 Asian Games were also held in Tianhe District, Guangzhou.
