Malmö City Library (Swedish: Malmö stadsbibliotek) is located in Malmö, Sweden and celebrated its 100 anniversary in December 2005. It has 550 000 different media, about 10 000 DVDs and 33 500 music CDs. In 2006 it became the first library in Sweden to lend video games.

On a recent trip to Malmö, we discovered the city for a couple of days and here are some of the highlights from our visit.
Malmö is the third largest city in Sweden, and it's known as one of the most multicultural cities in Europe as well as being incredibly bike-friendly. It's an interesting destination where you can have lots of different experiences.
The food scene is especially fantastic and you can taste authentic cuisine from all over the world. Another pleasant thing to do in Malmö is to just go for a stroll around Stortorget and Lilla Torg, which is filled with restaurants and bars.
It is very easy to get around Malmö, and I recommend to do so by bike. But you can also walk easily between the neighborhoods or go with the local bus. Each area has its own characteristics and many of the neighborhoods have plenty of old buildings with marvelous architecture.
Another architectural masterpiece in Malmö is the Turning Torso, which is also known as the twisting tower. It was the first of its kind when it opened, and some of the world's most famous buildings have since gotten its inspiration from Turning Torso.
Malmö is definitely one of the best cities to visit in Sweden, and you can easily spend a couple of days here and just enjoy the city.

KRUT - A place for Youth at Malmö City Library
What characterizes an inclusive place driven by gender equality? Malmö City Library decided early on that they wanted to create an equitable place for the youth. During one month, 20 youngsters from all districts of Malmö were hired to work with the design and the content of KRUT. This is the process behind and a part of the story of KRUT. So far. The future is yet to be told.
