Walking through Maltby Street Market (The Ropewalk) & Druid Street Market, Bermondsey, London, SE1.
This wonderful market is situated underneath and around the railway track arches which runs between Maltby Street and Millstream Road, it is known as The Ropewalk it's a buzzing street market with a fantastic mix of stalls, shops, pop-up bars and cafes.
Additionally in this video there's a walk along the recently opened Druid Street Market.
There's an incredible array of top quality food sellers; so local & London foodies desiring epicurean delights are magnetically drawn to this place at the weekends.
The market opens at the weekend at following times:
Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday 11:00am - 4:00pm
(Saturday being the busier day).

Maltby Street Market opened in 2010. This unlikely south-east London backwater quickly became a popular weekend destination.
The Ropewalk bears this name as a reference to a nearby ropewalk owned by notable Bermondsey eccentric Robert Rich in the eighteenth century and marked thus on John Roques' map of 1746.
Maltby Street Market has been fully subscribed since its origination. Its very limited size and the picturesque character of the railway arches and decoration encourages and allows for careful curation and a churn of start ups and star traders.

London Vlog | London's Coolest Market!!!
Eat Sleep Dreamers let's go and discover one of London's coolest markets...Maltby Street Market. It's famous for its great food and atmosphere. I hang out with my friend Gemma as she takes me on a culinary journey around the market. We eat grilled cheese sandwiches, donuts, scotch eggs and have a couple of gin and tonics too!

This is our 3rd #Market and every weekend between #LondonBridge and #Bermondsey you can find a glorious array of artisan producers serving up eager shoppers. Quality and variety isn't to be missed without mention the Gin Brewery Little Bird or the Spanish restaurant and bar Tozino this are a must to visit!

Top 3 London Markets - Chosen By Locals!
There are so many markets in London it can be hard to know which ones to go to. Today we visited three markets that were recommended to us by some London locals.
First stop is Camden Market. This area is known for cheap knock-offs, bric-a-brac, and food. It’s got a young, alternative vibe and is a very lively marketplace.
Second stop is Old Spitalfields Market. This market is great for meeting up with friends to grab a bite to eat. There are also a lot of pop up markets where you can grab some great deals on quality products.
Lastly, we visit the infamous Borough Market. The oldest food market in London didn’t disappoint. Here you can find loads of delicious food and drinks to either take home and cook or just grab a bite to eat while there.

The Ropewalk, or London Street Food, Ropewalk, Maltby, Market, Halal FoodMaltby Street Market as it’s better known, is as unpretentiously unique a street food enclave as you’re likely to find anywhere in London.
Essentially a short walkway that runs between Maltby Street and Millstream Road, this place successfully manages to make full use of the limited space available, including the original railway viaduct arches, by squeezing in a surprising variety pop-up stalls, mobile vendors, under-arch shops, and bars.
Even more surprising were the number of Halal and Halal-friendly stalls that we had the pleasure of discovering.
