My fiancee, nephews, cousins, and I decided we celebrate my nephews birthday with a week long vacation in the port city of Manzanillo, in the Mexican state of Colima. We stayed at the beautiful 5 Star Hotel Barcelo Karmina Palace during the entire trip. They made us book two suites but the main one we all used was the beautiful Presidential Suite. Of course, me and my fiancee got the Master Bedroom with the view to beautiful Manzanillo Bay. Lol.
We had an awesome time and we hope to be back one day!

Come along as we hit the beach for some yoga at the Oasis Beach Club. We enjoyed the bartering at Santiago Flea Market in Manzanillo. Then we had some tacos from Tacos estilo Baja California. Lastly, we finished our day off at the pool.

Deep Sea Fishing Manzanillo Mexico
We went to Manzanillo Mexico and I wanted to go gold prospecting. I checked a few spots and didn't find anything. So, we decided to go deep sea fishing. We caught Mojito, Tuna, Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), Yellow Fin Tuna and Marlin. Well we saw a Marlin but didn't hook it. We saw Grey Whale and boated into a huge pod of Dolphins. A few of us got seasick as well :( Hope you enjoy the video.

As December approaches, the ocean is slowly cooling off, bringing the fish closer to the shore. Fisher man are scouting the waters every morning, hoping for a good catch. This is hard work and they can use all the help they can get. During tourist season it is easier to get some help to pull the nets in. Everyone who helps gets to take some fish home. The rest goes to the market and the children get to search through the nets for starfish. Isn't that fun?
