Maasai Mara in Narok county/Kenya is a magical place. Thanks to Mufasa tours and travel a Kenyan YouTuber (Miss Trudy) Visited Maasai Mara for the 1st time during the jamuhuri weekend only for 6,999! We left Nairobi, Kenya at 9:00am. We had an amazing roadtrip to Narok county and eventually to Maasai Mara. After having lunch and giving you a room tour/tent tour we went for an evening game drive at the Maasai Mara national reserve. We saw wild animals like:Wildbeasts, giraffes, Zebra, Antelope, Vultures and lions. Sorry, my phone went off...
We head back to the camp to prepare for Vlog 2, the next day where we would visit the Maasai village.

Spears Removed From Wounded Hippopotamus in Masai Mara Kenya
A wildlife veterinarian with assistance from rangers removes two spears from a hippopotamus. Bushmeat hunters often target these huge animals, killing and butchering them, then sun-drying the meat for sale in regional markets.
Here a wildlife veterinarian anesthetizes the wounded hippo by darting it (red tipped), removes the two spears (one has already broken off), applies an antibiotic and then administers the antidote to the anesthesia. The hippo wakes up and heads back to the safety of the water, where he defecates with hippos’ characteristic “pinwheel” as if to say even though you helped me, I am still the boss.
Filmed by Brian Heath, executive director of the Mara Conservancy, a non-profit Kenyan organization responsible for managing the Mara Triangle of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Brian's intimate knowledge of the Mara has allowed him to capture some of the most compelling African wildlife videos.

Huge herds of animals in the Maasai Mara reserve
The Wildebeest Migration, is one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. Over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Kenya during July through to October. Well, the huge herds of wildebeest have now made it into the Mara Triangle and the spectacle of the great migration is underway. The vultures have started swarming and the lions and crocodiles are preparing for their next meal as the herds thunder through the plains, in search of fresh green grass.
