Maremagnum mall, Port of Barcelona 2017 Catalonia, Spain
In the central area, it also houses Maremagnum (a shopping mall and nightlife complex), a multiplex cinema, the IMAX Port Vell (large-format cinema complex), and Europe's largest aquarium, containing 8,000 fish and 11 sharks in 22 basins filled with 6 million litres of sea water. Because it is located in a designated tourist zone, the Maremagnum is the only commercial mall in the city that can open on Sundays and public holidays. Next to the Maremagnum area are the Golondrines, small ships that take tourists for a visit around the port area and beyond.

Maremagnum is much more than just a shopping mall. To begin with, it’s location already makes it special; almost completely surrounded by water and accessible through a sophisticated wooden lifting bridge – for pedestrians only – called Rambla de Mar, very close to Las Golondrinas Boat Tour.
Maremagnum means much more than shopping, it was conceived as an all-family entertainment facility rather than just a shopping center.
It features a large variety of shops and boutiques including homeware, clothing, jewelry, toy shops, cosmetics and shoe shops, even one of the official Barça merchandising stores it’s here.
There is another access by land, in between the junction of the Barceloneta and El Born neighborhoods, right after passing through the Aquárium.
It’s colorful setting near the Barcelona Port makes it an excellent spot to hang around and watch the sunset in perfect sight of the cruise ships arriving to Barcelona.

It’s the only shopping center in Barcelona which opens everyday of the year, including on Sundays and holidays, from 10:00 to 22:00. Its services include:

We were given free time again by our tour guide to explore Barcelona on our own. Nag mall at kumain kami sa Maremagnum Mall..so cool dahil ang katapat niya ay Barcelona Port Vell..very nice view around the mall and then nakigulo kami sa Las Ramblas where we bought our souvenir items. Ang saya dahil National Holiday din nila sa Barcelona. Wala akong masabi sa city na ito.
