Scuba diving at the Tambuli airplane wreck is always fun.
Diving at Tambuli is not only the airplane wreck; there are many things to see in this diving spot. You can often see #frogfish hanging on the #sea fans and soft #coral. Many different kinds of #beautiful #coral's formations are a must to see and unique to #Tambuli.
Tambuli #airplane #wreck is also a few minutes by #boat from our dive center.

Coral Reef Restoration Project: Teaching howto to children
Scotty's Action Sports Network, Scotty's Dive Club, and the young students of Cebu International School (CIS) have been working together, and will continue to work together, throughout 2018 to learn how to restore coral reefs. They are learning at Shangri-la Marine Sanctuary (SMS), which is the house reef right off the beach from our headquarters in Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on Mactan Island.
This project is about more than just coral reef restoration and conservation. We are very proud to be helping the next generation, through CIS, learn about saving our oceans and, for that matter, the world.
In this video, the students are watching divers take live rocks to prepare bedrock. We then attached selected, damaged corals to the live rocks with metal wires. This pairing allows a new coral reef to grow much faster.

Shangri La and Scotty's Dive School
This is the beautiful resort near bigfoot where I'm currently learning to scuba. It is utterly stunning and the seawater is the clearest I've ever seen. In the water, there are Clown fish (like Nemo) Parrot fish, Damsel fish (like a black and white Nemo) Sergeant Majors, Christmas Tree worms, Silver Dollar fish, Barracuda, Lion fish, bright blue Starfish and an old sunken jet-ski - and that's just what I can remember!!! It's an expensive place to get access to, but if you're going to spend the day in the resort, it's more than worth it!
