Ardara County Donegal
Ardara and the surrounding area is very popular with visitors who return each year to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this wonderful part of Donegal. Ardara Town itself is a traditional centre for weaving and knitwear production. Its historical importance has been recognised in the granting of Heritage status to the town. Ardara also hosts a number of festivals and other organised events throughout the year catering for almost every taste. These include a Bluegrass Festival, the Ardara Agriculture Show, the Cup OTae Festival, the Donegal Harvest Rally, an International Walking Festival - and weekends for traditional dancing and match-making.
