The Ultimate Marrakech Travel Guide MOROCCO
Marrakech (Marrakesh) is chaotic, loud and wonderful. We spent 2 days there, walking around seeing the sites. enjoy the mint tea, but ask for little or no sugar, otherwise it will come with 3 heaping spoonfuls. Also, drink the natural orange juice, it's delicious!

In our first episode we are in MARRAKECH! We are here to eat as much HALAL STREET FOOD as possible! We are spending the day exploring the ancient medina and eating a ton of food along the way. We start the day eating Bessara (Moroccan fava bean soup), and then visit the community bakery. We visit the first pastry shop in Marrakech to try some traditional sweets, and wash it down with freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. The medina features some cool shops that sell pickles and famous Moroccan mint. We have lunch in a busy corner of the market and try cactus fruit for the first time. We take a break from eating and visit the Secret Garden and then watch the sunset over the city. In the evening, we hit the night market for more food: Jemaa el-Fna. We eat the classic Moroccan street foods - like braised escargots!
What a HUGE day of eating traditional dishes and STREET FOOD in Marrakesh! MASSIVE thanks to Mohamed from Moroccan Food Tour for making this happen. MARRAKECH GUIDE - Morocco 2019
This Marrakech Guide (Morocco 2019), part 2 of my series, is a comprehensive Marrakech travel guide. I will provide you with essential Marrakech tips to help you avoid common mistakes and I will share my experiences around weather, currency, prices for a flight to Marrakech, transportation, the must see tourist attractions, food as well as the required travel budget.
Marrakesh is a city full of hidden oases, beautiful architecture and great rooftop restaurants. However, it is easy to get lost in the colourful maze of souks and small alleys and face locals who demand money in exchange for (sometimes wrong) directions... and do not rely on Google Maps as I explain in this video.
Most of the shown Marrakech attractions are in the old city located around the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square - Dar El Bacha, Le Jardin Secret and Bahia Palace.
Did you enjoy the video? Please click the Like button/Thumbs Up and subscribe, so you do not miss part 3 of my Marrakech series which will cover hotels and riads. I upload new videos every week.
Do you have any questions? Are you planning to travel to Marrakech? Please leave me a comment below. I look forward to your feedback, questions and travel tips!

Our Story:
My name is Jan and I travel with my girlfriend Carla. I believe traveling and exploring new places is the key to a happy life. I also believe most of us are suffering from travel deficiency as we want to travel more than we actually do due to a lack of information and our busy everyday lives. It is time to stop dreaming and take back control!
I created this channel to build an open travel community which enables people to spend less time researching and more time traveling by having access to the right information more quickly.
In 2019, I challenged myself to prove that it is possible to travel frequently (12 destinations in 12 months) despite having a busy life - no more excuses!
Join me on my journey and let’s cure travel deficiency together - one trip at a time.
Please subscribe and click the bell button to get notified every week when I upload a new video.

Your Morocco Tour Guide: Tariq from Intrepid Travel
Morocco is an astounding combination of ancient history, unique culture, and heart-racing adventure. If you’ve always dreamed of taking in everything this incredible country has to offer -- the desert, the colours, the bustle of the markets -- then what better way to learn about it than from a local? Join TourRadar, in partnership with Intrepid Travel, as we interview Tariq Hammoudi, a local guide.
Is Tariq standing in the middle of some kind of gorgeous movie set? No, that’s just how amazing Morocco is. We know you’ll be just as charmed by Tariq’s smile and personality as you will be by his home country.
There’s no better way to get to know a country than to listen to a local talk about everything that makes it so great. Listen as Tariq explains the kinds of interactions you can expect from touring Morocco. Spoiler alert: the locals are friendly, chatty, and always warm and welcoming. Morocco is always ready to be explored, but after this video, you’ll want to become Moroccan yourself!
Find out what spots are can’t-miss (and gawk at our footage of them), and start planning your own Moroccan adventure! If you’re dreaming of travelling to Morocco soon, getting excited about an upcoming trip, or just love hearing stories, we hope this video has you ready to tour Morocco as soon as you can.
In Tariq’s words, visitors to Morocco are “all brothers and sisters.” Don’t you want to join the family?

Moroccan travel guide | Best places to visit in Marrakech
Marrakesh is a must visit destination so I decided to make a travel guide.
Looking for the top things to do in Marrakech Morocco? Here are the top places to visit on your next trip to Marrakesh!
Take a tour of Marrakech and enjoy our list of recommended attractions to see:
Number 7: Jardin Majorelle, originally created by French artist Jacques Majorelle, the property was later on purchased by the fashion designers, Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Entry fee is 5 USD. It gets quiet busy and loses its charm with the crowd.
Number 6: Jemaa El-Fna Square, real epicentre of Marrakech, the square will subdue its visitors by its charm. Visit it during the day and at night and notice the difference. This 11th century historic area is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Number 5: Maison de la Photographie, located in a nicely renovated Riad, it's a photo museum that takes you back in time. The Riad has a roof terrace where you can have food and drink and admire the stunning view of the Medina and the Atlas mountains.
Number 4: Get lost in the medina and the souks, wander through the narrow alleys of the city's ancient walled medina, buy Moroccan handcrafted items, bargain, push the doors of hidden riads.
Number 3: Bahia Palace, one of the masterpieces of Moroccan architecture. One of the best spots for your Instagram shots. Entry fee is 7 USD.
Number 2: Le Jardin Secret, an oasis of tranquility in the chaotic Medina. Discover its gardens and buildings which are outstanding examples of Islamic art and architecture.
Number 1: El Badi Palace was once the biggest and most splendid palace complex in Morroco. Today only its foundations remain but it is still magnificent, so much that Christian Dior held its fashion show in the palace to showcase his beginning of 2019 Cruise collection. The Palace also hosts the annual festival Marrakesh du rire with Jamel Debouze.
Stay tune for our next video on the best places to eat in Marrakesh. And subscribe.

Morocco Travel Guide: Marrakech, Atlas Mountains and Essaouira
On this trip you’ll be heading to Marrakech, the heart of Morocco, where spices linger in the market air, the sun sets on street performers, and the senses are treated to a whirlwind of sights and sounds. Discover life in the sprawling medina or get lost in the alleyways towards the souqs. Marvel at the tilework found in the royal Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said or learn how ancient traditions are woven into the fabric of Marrakech; there’s more than one way to fall in love with this cosmopolitan city.
Morocco is a North African country renowned for diversity, and this is one of the things that make it such a fascinating destination to visit. It’s a place where one will find many cultural influences, and the landscape offers visitors a chance to experience the ocean, Atlas Mountain peaks and the Sahara Desert all in one go. You might be travelling to one country, but in Morocco, there is a whole world to explore.
In Essaouira discover how coastal winds and different tribes can shape a port city. It’s a melting pot with Arab, Berber and European influences. While the sea attracts windsurfers, culture vultures flock to the medina’s alleyways for galleries and a spot of people watching. The vibrancy found in the country’s cities is matched by life in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where visitors can swap people watching and fortified walls for hiking, folk music and stargazing.
Observe nomadic shepherds, hike through limestone river canyons, enjoy impressive views and Berber hospitality and warmth as you make Midelt your basecamp for the Middle Atlas Mountains. As the sun goes down on the soaring peaks, the stars will light up the skies.
If we’ve inspired you to explore this north African country further, head over to TourRadar for all the different ways you can discover a world of flavour, culture and history in Morocco.
