Comfort Inn Cleveland,Ms,Correction and problem solved,
Comfort Inn Cleveland, Mississippi.
Comfort Inn Cleveland, Ms , was Not racial but rude workmanship, owners made proper corrections to what appeared to be a violation of cvil rights, after further investigation by the owners proper steps were taken to fix and address the problem, here is what happen,
my name is Matt Davis as pointed out in the video i found myself in a situation that seemed like a
serious Civil Rights violation, and as a result receive and very genuine and sincere call from one of the owners of the Franchise we had a very friendly and open conversation about the history of his family and thru this dialog was abel to see that he too was a full supported of Civil rights having had his own problem being that he was from India and knows what its like to be called the N word as he has be called that before, I then knew from that and many other examples shared that we were very much on the same page.
he also express that they have a zero tolerance concerning violations of civil rights and would not tolerate such behavior in their work establishment and that they were one of the first hotels in the state to place Black people at the front desk as you could see in the video , their family have been long supporter of the local communities with the influence of their late farther Dr. V.K. Chawla
who resently died early this year and left a legacy of goodwill and loved my many, my condolence to his wife of 50 years Mrs. Chawla
for those that were following the outcome of this video post, the out come turns out that it was not racial as I thought rather, thru further actions on the part of the owners i was able to see that it was more related to the time that we went in, it was closing and she just wanted to go home and not do the additional work of taking in more people , I am happy with the out come ,
as it turns out we are very much on the same page and are on the same side as civil right fight , I did not feel like I was just being herd out but rather we had a very positive discussion and can see each others side as the owner of this franchise are Minority also and contributes to advancement of civil rights for all .
pleas don't hesitate to support them in this effort by doing business with them,
Matt Davis
P.s. so much can come from dialog and some time things are not always what they seem , and lets be willing to here the other side with a open mind and learn from each other how we are so much on the same side of doing the right thing.
pleas join me in letting others know that this is a great motel to do business with and the owner will listen and they truly care.

Cincinnati in Motion under partial reconstruction
Cincinnati in Motion under partial reconstruction located in Union Terminal.
The downtown area of the nation’s largest full-motion urban layout has been refreshed and business is once again booming in downtown Cincinnati of the 1940s. The buildings, vehicles, people and their pets have been cleaned, repaired and repainted. Landmarks like the Roebling Bridge, City Hall, Carew Tower and more are recreated in stunning detail. The fire department is on call and the riverfront hums with activity. Marvel at the intricacies of Cincinnati on a 1/64 scale and watch the layout come to life as lighting effects transition from day to night and the city is illuminated by the glow of streetlights.
As one of the best-loved galleries in the Cincinnati History Museum, Cincinnati in Motion, the downtown portion returns as a refreshed and renewed space in Union Terminal. The renovated gallery offers cleaned and repaired historic S-gauge train models, new lighting and sound, more opportunities to interact with historic and updated content, glimpses at the inner mechanics of the models and stronger visual connections to Cincinnati’s skyline just outside Union Terminals’ windows.

Albeit just the outside, but the steam engine is rather peculiar in look and I had no clue that there existed such a thing in the first place. Does anybody know the history on this thing and/or the make and model?

SAMRA Train Show August 2010 part 5
Part five of the SAMRA Train Show at the Live Oak Civic Center from back in August 2010.
So, the layout in this video was by far the biggest layout of all the ones at the train show. It was big, but it was a combined effort of three different groups. The first two groups, The New Braunfels Railroad museum and Santrak, are seen in this video. What I did here was cut the video and rearranged it so that the three sections aren't mixed with one another but instead shown all at once before moving on to the next one.
Note: The layout seen here continues on into part 6.
Enjoy!

SUMMARY
=======
The history of American newspapers begins in the early 18th century with the publication of the first colonial newspapers. American newspapers began as modest affairs—a sideline for printers. They became a political force in the campaign for American independence. Following independence the first article of U.S. Constitution guaranteed freedom of the press. The U.S. Postal Service Act of 1792 provided substantial subsidies: Newspapers were delivered up to 100 miles for a penny and beyond for 1.5 cents, when first class postage ranged from six cents to a quarter.
The American press grew rapidly during the First Party System (1790s-1810s) when both parties sponsored papers to reach their loyal partisans. From the 1830s onward, the Penny press began to play a major role in American journalism. Technological advancements such as the telegraph and faster printing presses in the 1840s also helped to expand the press of the nation as it experienced rapid economic and demographic growth. Editors typically became the local party spokesman, and hard-hitting editorials were widely reprinted.
By 1900 major newspapers had become profitable powerhouses of advocacy, muckraking and sensationalism, along with serious, and objective news-gathering. During the early 20th century, prior to rise of television, the average American read several newspapers per-day. Starting in the 1920s changes in technology again morphed the nature of American journalism as radio and later, television, began to play increasingly important competitive roles.
In the late 20th century, much of American journalism became housed in big media chains. With the coming of digital journalism in the 21st century, all newspapers faced a business crisis as readers turned to the Internet for sources and advertisers followed them.
