Abbott's Candies in Hagerstown Indiana! The Best Candy in the World! IMHO!
Mom and I decided to take a trip to the candy shop in Hagerstown, Indiana. This wonderful place is family owned and operated. They make the candy in small batches by hand, follow the same recipes the family used in 1890. The candy is amazing! My favorite is the caramel.
They have two locations in the state of Indiana;
3744 E. 82nd St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46240
48 E. Walnut St. Hagerstown, Indiana 47346
If you are not able to make it to Indiana anytime soon you can always order online: abbottscandy.com.
You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Schimpff’s Confectionery | Louisville Life | KET
You can get a soda fountain drink, some hard candy fish and even a sandwich at this southern Indiana landmark. Schimpff’s Confectionery is one of the oldest, family-owned candy stores in the United States. The business started more than 150 years ago when Magdalene Schimpff, a widow, settled in Louisville and her sons started making candy. A few years later, the family moved to Jeffersonville where the candy shop is a landmark on Spring Street.
