Hammamet (em árabe: الحمّامات) é uma cidade costeira do nordeste da Tunísia, capital da delegação (espécie de distrito) homónimo, o qual faz parte da província (gouvernorat) de Nabeul. O município tem 36 km² de área e em 2004 tinha 63 116 habitantes (densidade: 1 753,2 hab./km²), dos quais 40 197 viviam na cidade. Juntamente com Nabeul, constitui uma conurbação com 185 000 habitantes.
É umas das estâncias balneares mais concorrida da Tunísia e situa-se na costa sul do cabo Bon, 12 km a sudoeste de Nabeul, 70 km a sudeste de Tunes e 90 km a sul de Sousse. É conhecida desde a segunda metade do século XX pelas suas praias extensas ao longo do golfo de Hammamet, mais recentemente, desde meados da década de 1990, pela marina Yasmine Hammamet.

Hammamet is a town in Tunisia. Due to its beaches it is a popular destination for swimming and water sports. It was the first tourist destination in Tunisia. It is located in the south east of the northern peninsula of Cap Bon in the Governorate of Nabeul, on the northern edge of the Gulf of Hammamet.
The reported number of inhabitants varies from 20,000 to 70,000 and the population quadruples due to tourists in the summer.
It is particularly known for jasmine, and this is how the tourist resort of Yasmine Hammamet got its name. All over Hammamet, souvenirs made of jasmine can be found.
Around Hammamet, all kinds of immigrant towns/suburbs are being built as immigrants from the southern part of the country come to find work. As a popular destination for tourists, it brings a lot of money to Tunisia.
الحمامات زيادة عن كونها موطن للاستجمام والبحث عن الرّاحة والسّكينة, فهي أيضا بلد له أهله بعاداتهم وتقاليدهم المتوارثة في شتّى الميادين الصّناعية والفلاحية. وهذه الصّناعات التّقليدية تعكس ما جلب عليه الأهالي من إتقان ودقة وصبر. فالبحارة قد تناقلوا من جيل إلى جيل طرق صيدهم التّقليدية عبر العصور بكل أمانة. ونسوق على سبيل الذّكر التّقنيات الأكثر استعمالا عند صيادي الحمامات : الصيد بالأضواء للسردينة والسكمري والصيد بالشص للجغالي والدنديق.

Stara Medina powstała około XV wieku i jest nadal zamieszkała. Wąskie uliczki, niezliczona ilość sklepów, kramów i sprzedawców, którzy są niezwykle natrętni i natarczywi. W kilka sekund orientują się skąd jest dany turysta i zachęcają do odwiedzenia swojego sklepu w jego języku. Przemierzając wąskie uliczki ciężko zachować orientację, często zdarza się chodzić w kółko. Podczas takiej wyprawy na pewno zdarzy się nam zawędrować w miejsce gdzie toczy się zwyczajne życie mieszkańców starej Mediny, których zastaniemy na obieraniu ziemniaków, wywieszaniu prania czy zwykłym przesiadywaniu przed domem. Stara Medina to miejsce bardzo klimatyczne, warto się tutaj wybrać, zwłaszcza że za murami miasta jest przyjemnie chłodno i można uciec od upału. Idealnym miejscem na spacer jest też promenada tuż za murami miasta, ciągnąca się wzdłuż morza. Tutaj również znajdziemy ochłodę, którą przynosi morska bryza.
