Käisime sellel korral jälle Gibraltaril, kuid seekord olid meiega kaasas ka Eteri ja Aleksander. Meid hoiatati igati nii interneti kui ka kohalike poolt, et Mediterranean Steps on tõenäoliselt kõige väljakutsetpakkuvam rada üles. Mida see aga oli, oli mõnus workout, imelised vaated, ja põnevaid seiklusi Aleksandrile. Wonderful ! If a threeyear old can do it - you can do it! And only in 50 minutes ;) Seekord käisime läbi aga kõik punktid ja vaatamisväärsused. Wonderful !

The MEDITERRANEAN STEPS Adventure // Climbing the Rock of Gibraltar
In this video I'm hiking the Mediterranean Steps in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. The Mediterranean Steps are a path and nature trail in Gibraltar's Upper Rock Nature Reserve and take the walker from Jews’ Gate up towards O’Hara’s Battery at 419m. The hike offers stunning views of the Bay of Gibraltar with the backdrop of Africa. All footage filmed with GoPro Hero 7 Black. Enjoy the video!

Come along and check out the Mediterranean Steps AKA Med steps. Gibraltar is a fantastic place for amazing views but none of them compare to walking along the med steps of Gibraltar! if you suffer from vertigo then look away now!
One of the best trails to walk along if you are visiting Gibraltar, you will be able to get some amazing views from the Med steps of Africa and the Mediterranean Sea sparkling below you whilst you admire the seagulls and sometimes even monkeys, just some of the amazing wildlife that Gibraltar has to offer.

12 Minutes 25 Seconds Up Mediterranean steps Gibraltar (Med Steps 5 Relay 2018)
My segment of the med steps 5 challenge team relay. I ran leg 1 of 5 for the Royal Gibraltar Regiment (Barbarians) Team. I ran a 12:25 to the top of med steps with a total time of 18:51 including the downhill segment. Our team won the overall team relay in a time of 01:52:00.

This was a great walk,we really enjoyed it,we were above the mist most of the time,but we still had great views,if you ever get the chance to walk this,then please do it will be well worth the effort.

Una increíble ruta que a pesar de ser corta en cuanto al tiempo , se hizo bastante dura casi al final por la dificultad de la subida de la escaleras antiguas y naturales.
Este camino por tierras inglesas pudimos completarlos en unas tres horas y tiene un recorrido total de unos 6-8 km que pasa por tuneles ,pequeñas cavernas , puentes y miradores
Debemos destacar que nosotros quedamos muy impresionados por las maravillosas vistas que nos dejó la puerta de entrada de Europa como es el estrecho de Gibraltar .

The annual Upper Rock Challenge gets underway tomorrow at 9am, raising funds for local charities Research Into Childhood Cancer and Prostate Cancer Support Group Gibraltar. The challenge consists of ascending the Med Steps 5 times. Michael Beltran spoke to the organisers.
