Boudhanath Stupa // Kathmandu City || Nepal Travel Vlog
After our invigorating visit to Pokhara it was time to head back to Kathmandu! Instead of taking the drive back, we flew on Buddha Airlines to make the journey. Once we were back in Kathmandu City, I checked into the Hotel Tibet International's Tibetian Suite, where I was able to sleep like a baby!
The Hotel Tibet International is walking distance from the amazing Boudha (Boudhanath) Stupa, so after a quick nap, I headed over to circumambulate the stupa alongside thousands of others. The experience was one that I cannot accurately put into words.
Come along with me as I make my way from Pokhara to Kathmandu, explore my hotel, and renew my spirit at the Boudha Stupa!
*Thank you Nepal Tourism Board and the Pacific Asia Travel Association for sponsoring my trip!*

We continue our Nepal series with a walk through the Bandipur mountain
village, and then travel to Pokhara to visit a river guide training camp for
Nepali girls.
The Earthquake: Part Two (Full Episode)
At 11:56 AM, on April 25, 2015, the nation of Nepal suffered one of its worst earthquakes in over 80 years. Remarkably, missionaries Tim Scott and Will Decker happen to be there at that exact moment. In the aftermath, Tim and Will run onto the streets of Kathmandu to witness downed buildings and citizens digging survivors out of the rubble, while panic and fear grip a city in chaos. As the days progress and the situations become direr, the missionaries contact a group of local Christians and form a team to deliver aid and supplies to those in desperate need.
The Earthquake is a raw first-hand experience of a major natural disaster and a moving documentation that highlights the hope found amidst the darkness.

Kathmandu to Pokhara Beautiful High Way Road Nepal Tourism
Kathmandu to Pokhara Beautiful High Way Road Nepal Tourism. This visit gives you the greatest opportunity to knowledge the most amazing architectures near in Kathmandu valley as well as the the majority striking natural scenarios.
210 KM west from Kathmandu valley, the Pokhara city is known as the City of Paradise and popular for tourism in Nepal. A complete Nepal destination surrounded by full nature of Himalaya, and with a lake in the middle of the Nepal city, some waterfalls, gorges, etc. Pokhara is also the gateway to many popular adventure trekking routes, like Annapurna Base Camp, Poon Hill Trek and some village hikes. Ideally, regardless if you are beyond the limit of high altitude trek Kathmandu to Pokhara road trip highly recommended.
If you’re someone who loves travelling and experiencing culture you’ve never been before, Pokhara can be a great option for you.
If you decide to travel to Nepal, you’ll find yourself landing in the Kathmandu city because of the residency of the only international airport. If you are travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the Tourist bus ride can quite possibly be the best option for you to travel on especially if your hotel is somewhere near Thamel, Nepal. It’s a known fact that 50 different companies operate the bus trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara road journey and vice versa.
Time is everything when choosing the tourist bus as your choice of transportation. Despite the fact that a number of companies operate the tourism buses, they all depart at the same time. Generally, the bus leaves at 7 am sharp. If you end up missing your bus, chances are you may have to travel by private car or local bus, or even wait until the following day if you still want to take an adventure travel by extreme bus.
You might be confused as to what the general prices of the fares are. There are different fares for different buses. The cost actually depends on the service the bus provides to the tourists. For example, a standard tourist bus costs approximately US$8 – US$12. This won’t provide you with air conditioner facilities only natural air.
Moreover, the deluxe bus costs US$15- US$25, which generally includes lunch, Wi-Fi, real air condition, a bottle of water and maybe some snacks as well.
It’s a long trip. Due to the weird hilly Kathmandu to Pokhara road conditions, it will take more time than you expected which is about 6 to 7 hours. However, the nature, folk view you will see is simply stunning and you’ll get to experience the Kathmandu tourism, road of Nepal, take Nepal images and drive around the mountain area.

KATHMANDU'S MAGICAL GARDEN OF DREAMS — One Month in Nepal // Day 07
I journey to the beating heart of the Nepali capital, Kathmandu, to explore and experience its many sights and attractions. The Garden of Dreams is one of the best places I've ever been to and the energy of the city is quite surreal; this is a must-see vlog!
After three long and stressful years at University, I've decided to go on an adventure, solo, to Nepal in Asia for one whole month. I'm staying with a Nepalese family that I've never met in exchange for some volunteering with their business. I've also decided to film (almost) every moment and release a daily vlog every, single, day. Having a holiday to Spain with the lads wasn't really my cup of tea, so taking on an ambitious travel vlog adventure seemed appropriate. I leave on the 12th July and I'm making the most of every moment. This is my One Month in Nepal.
SUBSCRIBE to follow my epic adventure to incredible places, historic landmarks, and unbelievable views. New vlogs every day!

TVS Motor Company has organised the first international Apache Pro Performance (APP) stunt show in Kathmandu, Nepal. The motorcycle stunt event was quite a spectacular sight for the residents of Baghikhana, Singha Durbar in Central Kathmandu and the crowd was cheering the riders from the very beginning. This edition of TVS Apache Pro Performance was also conducted as part of a celebration. The Indian brand has sold over three million units of the TVS Apache line-up. The TVS Apache series motorcycles have received much appreciation over the years in India as well as in various foreign countries. Apache Pro Performance is a part of TVS Racing — the brand's factory racing team who've bagged so many titles over the years in various motorsport events. Through TVS Racing and Apache Pro Performance, the company aims to stay true with the popular tagline, #RacingDNAUnleashed. The stunt show was performed by Jaipur-based Steel Silencers, who is sponsored by TVS Racing. The team showcased their skills of exceptional control and manoeuvrability on modified TVS Apache motorcycles. Wheelies, stoppies, three-up tornado, super-flip stoppers, rolling burnouts and christ pose were all part of the action. Prior to the event, the stunt team took a session for the audience regarding the dos and don'ts of riding a motorcycle. The importance of wearing proper riding gear was also discussed. The event was witnessed by over a thousand people
World's Greatest Trekking Adventure-Everest Base Camp Nepal
Preview and Download Part 1 of Far East Adventure Travel's World's Greatest Trekking Adventure-Everest Base Camp Nepal.
It’s one of the most coveted treks in the world. Everest Base Camp, Nepal. Far East Adventure Travel is proud to present two podcasts completely devoted to the magic of trekking this region. From crossing the sometimes trecherous Chola Pass to the final steps arriving at Everest Base Camp. And an early morning ascent of Kala Patthar for one of the best views of Everest in all of Nepal. Join me John Saboe for one of Asia’s great adventures. Trekking to Everest Base Camp.
Everest Base Camp, Nepal. Right from the start I was in for a hair raising experience. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, rated as one of the most dangerous airports in the world is often canceled in October, the busy season due to weather conditions. If it’s not cloudy or windy in Lukla, it is in Kathmandu, making it extremely tricky to complete scheduled flights. You can be stranded in Lukla for days waiting for a weather window. Same this goes in Kathmandu. Days!
You can avoid the whole worry of flight delays and dangerous weather conditions by trekking all the way to Lukla. Take a bus from Kathmandu to Jiri, about 9 hours. Then just walk for a week! For me, I was extremely lucky to be on one of the first flights that day from Kathmandu to the start of the trek with favorable weather conditions.
Previously I had trekked in a couple of regions in Nepal and had been to Everest Base Camp in Tibet. Up until now I had avoided the EBC trek for more remote and quieter trails in Nepal’s Himalaya. But this was the same ground that many mountaineers had trampled including the first two to summit the world’s highest mountain, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. My curiousity with the trails, the lore of the region and the super friendly Sherpa people that make up the largest ethnic group in the Khumbu Valley could no longer be suppressed because of some crowded trails and teahouses with wine bars.
