Inside the Ships: The Battleship Mikasa
We are very pleased to bring you the first “Inside the Ships” episode, a future sister series to the commonly known “Inside the Tanks”.
The last part of “Wargaming Asia” series brings a tour & a review of the pre-dreadnought battleship Mikasa – the only pre-dreadnought, an ancestor to the Katori-class, still in existence.
This 15,000-ton beast was the flagship of Admiral Togo. To best illustrate you the rich history of this sleeping battleship we had teamed up with our Tokyo colleague: Tadamasa Miyanaga, our Military Advisor for Japan.
We hope you enjoy this video, and please remember to turn on the subtitles for full Japanese experience from Tadamasa.

Memorial Ship MIKASA in Yokosuka(記念艦「三笠」)
