Sucre was the original capital of Bolivia and remains one of my most cherished cities I've visited around the world. I had the chance to visit Sucre while travelling for three months through much of Bolivia and Peru. It's not a city I was very familiar with before departing from the US in the Spring of 2015, but one I was determined to share with everyone I met once I returned from my trip.
If you're backpacking through Bolivia and stop over in Sucre, make sure to check out the Mercado Central, located slightly off the main square (Plaza 25 de Mayo). Much of the footage from this video is of that market, it's vendors, and the excellent cuisine they offer there. Every day while I was staying at Kultur Berlin or with my fantastic Bolivian family, I'd stop off at the market on my way back from taking Spanish classes at Bolivian Spanish School.
The food in Sucre was by far some of the best Latin American food I had the chance to have over my three months of travel.
Among the few things on my back was my Canon 5d Mark ii, a zoom lens, and a small tabletop tripod, all of which I had brought hoping to rekindle my long-dormant documentary video skills. Before leaving on the trip, I had calculated that it had been over seven years since I had produced a video on my own.
In South America, I was determined to find and tell a story. In Sucre, I found it.

Sucre is well known as Unesco World Heritage Site and it's here when they signed the declaration of independence in 1825. Sucre has so much to offer but we love the most their Mercado Central and walking off the rooftop of San Felipe de Neri church

Conociendo ÑUCCHU
ÑUCCHU se encuentra en la provincia Oropeza en el Municipio de Yotala a 21 kilómetros de la ciudad de Sucre capital de Bolivia lugar histórico por constituirse en un refugio del Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre, prócer de independencia de Bolivia.
En esta comunidad se encuentra la hacienda del Ex presidente Don Gregorio Pacheco, en aquel lugar se despacharon los destinos de la patria durante cuatro años.
Dos ríos cruzan por la Comunidad el clima es muy agradable para los visitantes.
