Hitachi Traction Elevator Bank #1-Metropolitan Plaza-Guangzhou, China
This is a HUGE mall! The downside? Lots of people! These are actually pretty good size elevators and they have awesome bells like all Hitachi elevators. I was actually surprised that I got it to myself as much as I did.

Hitachi Traction Elevator Bank #2-Metropolitan Plaza-Guangzhou, China
These are busier than the other ones. Pretty much identical elevators. Cell phones in China have really taken away the attention of people. They don't even know what floor is theirs. (worse than the United States) The elevator I got didn't sound the best when running. It was smooth, it just didn't sound good.

Guangzhou China Experience: Huge Shopping Mall on Beijing Road!
This was the first modern Chinese shopping mall I experienced on a recent October 2018 trip. The mall was super clean and had several stories, including a gym at the very top, an archery cafe and many nice restaurants. Definitely a must see mall if you visit the city!

Qianhai: China's Manhattan
The Qianhai development is part of the Chinese mainland's national strategy to transform a 15-square-kilometre area in Shenzhen into a modern services centre by 2020. The pilot zone will focus on developing such sectors as finance, modern logistics, information services and technology and professional services. It's also expected to serve as a test ground for a fully convertible yuan.
In March 2013, a Hong Kong business delegation got a rare glimpse of the new pilot zone now under construction in a mission organised by the HKTDC and InterCham.

Guangzhou (Cantonese pronunciation: [kʷɔ̌ːŋ.tsɐ́u], Chinese: 广州), also known as Canton,[6] is the capital and most populous city of the province of Guangdong.[7] Located in southern China on the Pearl River about 120 km (75 mi) north-northwest of Hong Kong and 145 km (90 mi) north of Macau, Guangzhou has a history of over 2,200 years and was a major terminus of the maritime Silk Road[8] and continues to serve as a major port and transportation hub today, as well as one of China's three largest cities.[9]
Guangzhou is situated at the heart of the most-populous built-up metropolitan area in mainland China, an area that extends into the neighboring cities of Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan and Shenzhen, forming one of the largest urban agglomerations on the planet. Administratively, the city holds sub-provincial status;[10] and is one of China's five National Central Cities.[11] In 2015 the city's administrative area was estimated to have a population of 13,501,100.[12] Guangzhou is ranked as an Alpha- Global city.[13] In

Guangzhou (Chinese: 广州, literally wide state) (former common romanisation: Canton; less-commonly known as Kwangchow) is the capital and largest city of Guangdong province, People's Republic of China. Located on the Pearl River, about 120 km (75 mi) north-northwest of Hong Kong and north-northeast of Macau, Guangzhou is a key national transportation hub and trading port. One of the five National Central Cities, it holds sub-provincial administrative status.
Guangzhou is the third largest Chinese city and southern China's largest city. As of the 2010 census, the city's administrative area had a population of 12.78 million, making itself the most populous city in South China. Some estimates place the population of the entire Pearl River Delta Mega City built up area as high as 40 million including Shenzhen (10.36 million), Dongguan (8.22 million) and most parts of Foshan (7.19 million), Jiangmen (4.45 million), Zhongshan (3.12 million) and a small part of Huizhou adjoining Dongguan and Shenzhen, with an area of about 20,000 square kilometres (7,700 sq mi). In 2008 Guangzhou was identified as a Beta World City by the global city index produced by the GaWC, the Globalization and World Cities Research Network.

Beijing, China’s massive capital, has history stretching back 3 millennia. Yet it’s known as much for its modern architecture as its ancient sites such as the grand Forbidden City complex, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Nearby, the massive Tiananmen Square pedestrian plaza is the site of Mao Zedong’s mausoleum and the National Museum of China, displaying a vast collection of cultural relics.

Concept for Jinan Financial Plaza
Charged with creating an architectural landmark which would become the leading player in Jinan-Shandong Province Capital City, John Portman & Associates designed a small mixed-use village where the different program components each have a distinctive identity, while the functions are conveniently integrated, complementing and working well together without impinging on each other.
An interesting combination of curvilinear and rectilinear forms, our design acknowledges and harmonizes well with the axial governmental buildings on the East side of the project site, with the soft landscape elements through out the East Jinan CBD core, as well as with the rounded forms of the nearby athletic center and mountain topography.

Going to Huaqiangbei electronics market Shenzhen China
Huaqiangbei is renowned for it's electronics markets. The area is reported as being the largest electronics market in China, and possibly one of the largest in the world, which stands to reason as Shenzhen is a major producer of electronics goods, and it's a city where many big brand tech gadgets are produced.
The big malls for electronics and gadgets include:
SEG Electronic Market- 10 floors including cables, tools, electronic parts, PC's, laptops, GPS
Huaqiang Electronic World -- several multi floor buildings, including parts (new and used), electronics repairs, tools, chips, LED, cables then into consumer electronics.
Yuanwang Digital Mall -- mobile cell phones, computers, gadgets, iphone & ipad cases and accessories
Cyber Digital Mall - cameras, brand name electronic gadgets
Golconda Cyber Plaza -- mostly locally produced mobiles plus gadgets.
SED Electronic Communication Market - smart phones and tablet PC's. Plenty of superpads, e-pads and android tablets, both wholesale and retail.
The subway makes it easy, just get off the metro line 1 (Luobao Line) at Huaqiang Lu Station and wander out exit A then walk straight ahead and you'll be at Huaqiang Bei Lu. Can also take the Shekou line and get off at Huaqiang North station.
