Army Black Knights vs. Tulane Green Wave at Michie Stadium in West Point, NY
The Army Black Knights hosted the Tulane Green Wave... and quarterback Trent Steelman went 3-for-3 for 70 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more scores as Army routed Tulane 45-6.
The nation's No. 3 rushing team didn't attempt a pass until inside of five minutes to play in the first half, just moments before this video clip of Steelman's 1-yard touchdown, which put Army up 21-6.
According to Wikipedia...
Michie Stadium is an outdoor football stadium located on the campus of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York. It is the home field for the Army Black Knights. It opened in 1924 and has a current seating capacity of 38,000.
The stadium sits at the upper portion of campus, directly west of Lusk Reservoir. The field is at an elevation of 335 feet (102 m) above sea level and runs in the traditional north-south configuration, with the press box above the west sideline. Because of the view offered by its location overlooking the Hudson River and the medieval-style campus below, it was rated as Sports Illustrated's #3 sports venue of the 20th century.
Michie Stadium is dedicated to the memory of Dennis Michie, who was instrumental in starting football at the Academy in 1890. Michie organized, managed, and coached the first football team in history at West Point. He was later killed during the Spanish--American War in 1898. There have been several renovations since the stadium's first game in October 1924, when Army defeated Saint Louis, 17--0.
On September 25, 1999 the football field at Michie Stadium was named Blaik Field, in honor of Earl Red Blaik, the head coach at West Point from 1941 to 1958. Blaik led Army to two national titles, in 1944 and 1945.

West Point Trip - Rob, Bob, Brendan and Joe - Go Army Beat Navy - Actually Go Army Beat Temple
Take a unique look at what it's like to visit the United States Military Academy and Michie Stadium. Rob, Bob, Brendan and Joe travel up to USMA. Army Black Knights take on the Temple Owls.
The United States Military Academy at West Point (also known as USMA, West Point, Army, The Academy or simply The Point) is a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in West Point, New York. The academy sits on scenic high ground overlooking the Hudson River, 50 miles (80 km) north of New York City. The entire central campus is a national landmark and home to scores of historic sites, buildings, and monuments. The majority of the campus's neogothic buildings are constructed from gray and black granite. The campus is a popular tourist destination complete with a large visitor center and the oldest museum in the United States Army.
Candidates for admission must both apply directly to the academy and receive a nomination, usually from a Senator or Representative. Students are officers-in-training and are referred to as cadets or collectively as the United States Corps of Cadets (USCC). Tuition for cadets is fully funded by the Army in exchange for an active duty service obligation upon graduation. Approximately 1,300 cadets enter the Academy each July with about 1,000 cadets graduating.
The academic program grants a bachelor of science degree with a curriculum that grades cadets' performance upon a broad academic program, military leadership performance, and mandatory participation in competitive athletics. Cadets are required to adhere to the Cadet Honor Code, which states that a cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do. The academy bases a cadet's leadership experience as a development of all three pillars of performance: academics, physical, and military.
Most graduates are commissioned as second lieutenants in the Army. Foreign cadets are commissioned into the armies of their home countries. Since 1959, cadets have also been eligible to cross-commission, or request a commission in one of the other armed services, provided they meet that service's eligibility standards. Every year, a small number of cadets do this, usually in a one-for-one trade with a similarly inclined cadet or midshipman at one of the other service academies.
Because of the academy's age and unique mission, its traditions influenced other institutions. It was the first American college to have class rings, and its technical curriculum was a model for later engineering schools. West Point's student body has a unique rank structure and lexicon. All cadets reside on campus and dine together en masse on weekdays for breakfast and lunch. The academy fields fifteen men's and nine women's National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) sports teams. Cadets compete in one sport every fall, winter, and spring season at the intramural, club, or intercollegiate level. Its football team was a national power in the early and mid-20th century, winning three national championships. Its alumni and students are collectively referred to as The Long Gray Line, and its ranks include two Presidents of the United States, numerous famous generals, and seventy-four Medal of Honor recipients.
