The Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa | Lake Placid, New York
During my trip to Lake Placid I spent 2 nights at the beautiful Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa.
The hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed at here in North America and it's definitely somewhere you're going to want to check out if you're looking for premium accommodation in Lake Placid.
We had a wonderful room on the top floor of one of the main buildings with an incredible view of Mirror Lake and the surrounding Adirondack mountain range.
From the hotel it's just a short 5 minute walk into the business district of Lake Placid and in under 30 minutes you can easily reach anything you would want to do in the area from Olympic attractions to hiking trails and everything else.
In the summer the area can be quite busy so fall and winter make for the best time to visit Lake Placid if you’re looking for a quieter and more peaceful getaway.
Although there is a lot of accommodation and other hotels in Lake Placid you would be hard-pressed to find something better equipped for short-term stays than the Mirror Lake Inn.

TRAVEL UPSTATE NEW YORK | DOG SLED ON MIRROR LAKE | LAKE PLACID | Cat Arambulo-Antonio
We went on a dog sled ride on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. The kids had a blast.
Note: It was -21 degrees. Cost $10 per person. The ride was super quick, 5 minutes.
I highly recommend it for your kids!!!
