Festival in Japan: Mito Komon Matsuri 2019
Mito shi is the capital city of Ibaraki ken in Japan. I used to live in Ibaraki and Mito has always been a special place to me. I now live in Kanagawa but I went to Mito to visit my friends and join this year's Matsuri (festival). This is a very short video of the highlights of the festival. I opted not to include other footage that I have because I wasn't able to get the consent of my friends for their appearance in the video. Nonetheless, we had a great time and I want to put this video hete to remind me of the beautiful Mito shi.
This is my first video, edited using my phone while having dinner. I hope to post more quality videos in the future.
Mito Komon Festival（水戸黄門まつり）
Mito Komon Festival is celebrated at Mito city(Japan Ibaraki) in every August.You can see the “mikoshi” “dashi” and beautiful fireworks.
Please come and see the Mito Komon Festival.
※Mito koumon was the relative of Tokugawa Shogun and ruled Mito district in Edo era.
※This movie was taken in August 7～9.2015.The teachers of English who is living in Mito city experienced the Mito koumon festival and swordplay which is inherited in Mito district.

This is a late upload of course. Haha. Anyways, this was my first Japanese Festival experience. Dati sa anime ko lang 'to nakikita ngayon real life na. Ashjdndkdkd anyway, enjoy watching!
Disclaimer: I didn't attend this festival dahil nakikiisa ako or I believe sa sinasamba nila. I was there because it was a popular tourist activity at napapanuod ko lang siya sa mga anime so I wanted to see and experience for myself. Above anything, it's a cultural experience. Nothing more, nothing less. Whatever you may think about this video is beyond my control.
P. S. Also found out that it is not a religious activity but a commemoration of one of their old feudal lords. Therefore is a cultural festival.

I Love this song and listened several times while I’m walking around Senba lake in Mito . I found a nice spot to lay down and simply enjoyed the beautiful relaxing garden. ( Kairakuen ) This was really exciting day trip !
