Pics and video taken around the skiing village of Gressoney La Trinite in the Aosta Valley in Italy in Jan 2017. Gressoney La Trinite is part of the monterosa ski area. Its a stunning little village, with really nice square next to a beautiful church and clock tower. This place is super quaint, and has some really nice bars and restaurants. Its quite well situated for skiing with the fast and long 2 person chair lift, punta jolanda, getting you high onto some nice red ski runs quite quickly. You can also ski back down into the village from the slopes, to the same place as you catch the ski lift.

Ski Trip to Gressoney-la-Trinite (Italy)
Our traditional family Boxing Day ski trip was a very relaxing 3 days skiing in the mountains of the Aosta Valley near Champoluc and Frachey. The conditions were amazing for the time of the year and we ate our body weight in food and drink!

Descrizione pista (nera) Jolanda 1 e (rossa) Jolanda.
Partenza da punta Jolanda (2272 m) e arrivo a Gressoney La Trinitè (1635 m). All'arrivo della seggiovia la pista si ramifica in due parti. A sinistra la nera mentre diritto la rossa. A circa metà percorso si congiungono.

Val Verde Ski Hotel Gressoney La Trinite Monterosa Italy Jan 2017
Some pics and video taken while staying at the Val Verde Hotel in Gressoney La Trinite, Italy in Jan 2017. We stayed their with esprit on a skiing holiday. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and food was alright. Wine was good. Lounge areas were big enough to accommodate everyone and comfortable enough. Location right beside the jolanda ski lift was very handy. The village itself is very pretty and quite relaxing. The way the hotel was being run, it felt like about a 3 star equivalent to a British hotel. For us, it was fine for what we wanted for the week.

La proprietà è dotata di posto auto interno, ski box e servizio di portineria.
Con la vendita dell'appartamento viene ceduta anche parte millesimale dell'unità destinata alla portineria.

Based at the centre of the Monterosa 'three valleys', Gressoney is actually two villages: Gressoney-La-Trinité and Gressoney-Saint-Jean. Champoluc and Alagna are also part of the Monterosa ski circuit, a large network of lifts and pistes, and some great off-piste terrain. Despite its excellent ski area, all three resorts are unspoilt and quiet, with a friendly, authentic Italian ambience. As such, Monterosa is considered by many to be one of Europe's best kept secrets.

Discesa sulla pista Jolanda nera a Gressoney la Trinitè nel comprensorio del Monterosa ski, la pista di difficoltà nera è lunga 1173 mt parte da punta Jolanda a quota 2278 mt, riconoscibile sullo skimap ufficiale della località con la marca G4, la pista poi va a collegarsi con la pista Jolanda rossa G3 che scende fino a valle alla partenza dell'omonima seggiovia necessaria per la risalita a punta Jolanda.
La pista nera nel muro finale arriva ad una massima pendenza di circa 70%.

La pista G7 è la pista che scende dal passo dei Salati (2971m), passo che collega il versante di Gressoney con quello di Alagna Valsesia nel Monterosa ski, al passo Gabiet (2318m).
La pista dei Salati è lunga 4684 m e supera un dislivello di 653 metri ed è di difficoltà rossa.
