AWESOME MOTOR!!! Vintage ESCO Hydraulic Elevator at Law Building Museum Of Fine Arts in Houston, TX.
Filmed on December 23, 2016: First, a beautiful old historic looking cab. Second, an AWESOME Chewbacca sounding dry-powered motor!!! :D
I am SUPER HAPPY that I finally found an elevator that has the Chewbacca motor AFTER A YEAR!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! :D :D :D This thing is just awesome. I did not even realize that this elevator had the Chewbacca musical motor on it. And also, listen to those relays when the door moves. This definitely feels like an old vintage beauty. As you see in the middle of this video, I did get questioned by a museum employee on the first floor, but he then let me go after I explained him what I was doing. This museum is also very friendly with elevator photographers as well too.

Houston is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Texas, fourth most populous city in the United States, as well as the sixth most populous in North America, with an estimated 2018 population of 2,325,502.[2] Located in Southeast Texas near Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, it is the seat of Harris County and the principal city of the Greater Houston metropolitan area, which is the fifth most populous metropolitan statistical area in the United States and the second most populous in Texas after the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, with a population of 6,997,384 in 2018.[5]
Comprising a total area of 637.4 square miles (1,651 km2),[6] Houston is the eighth most expansive city in the United States (including consolidated city-counties). It is the largest city in the United States by total area, whose government is not consolidated with that of a county, parish or borough. Though primarily in Harris County, small portions of the city extend into Fort Bend and Montgomery counties, bordering other principal communities of Greater Houston such as Sugar Land and The Woodlands.
The city of Houston was founded by land investors on August 30, 1836,[7] at the confluence of Buffalo Bayou and White Oak Bayou (a point now known as Allen's Landing)[8] and incorporated as a city on June 5, 1837.[9] The city is named after former General Sam Houston, who was president of the Republic of Texas and had won Texas' independence from Mexico at the Battle of San Jacinto 25 miles (40 km) east of Allen's Landing.[9] After briefly serving as the capital of the Texas Republic in the late 1830s, Houston grew steadily into a regional trading center for the remainder of the 19th century.[10]
The arrival of the 20th century saw a convergence of economic factors which fueled rapid growth in Houston, including a burgeoning port and railroad industry, the decline of Galveston as Texas' primary port following a devastating 1900 hurricane, the subsequent construction of the Houston Ship Channel, and the Texas oil boom.[10] In the mid-20th century, Houston's economy diversified as it became home to the Texas Medical Center—the world's largest concentration of healthcare and research institutions—and NASA's Johnson Space Center, where the Mission Control Center is located.
Houston's economy since the late 19th century has a broad industrial base in energy, manufacturing, aeronautics, and transportation. Leading in healthcare sectors and building oilfield equipment, Houston has the second most Fortune 500 headquarters of any U.S. municipality within its city limits (after New York City).[11][12] The Port of Houston ranks first in the United States in international waterborne tonnage handled and second in total cargo tonnage handled.[13] Nicknamed the Bayou City Space City”, H-Town, and “the 713”, Houston has become a global city, with strengths in culture, medicine, and research. The city has a population from various ethnic and religious backgrounds and a large and growing international community. Houston is the most diverse metropolitan area in Texas and has been described as the most racially and ethnically diverse major metropolis in the U.S.[14] It is home to many cultural institutions and exhibits, which attract more than 7 million visitors a year to the Museum District. Houston has an active visual and performing arts scene in the Theater District and offers year-round resident companies in all major performing arts.

(Epic Motor) Rare Long Hydraulic Elevator @ The Kemper Art Museum - St. Louis, MO
(10-13-19) This art museum is located on Washington University's campus in St. Louis. At first, this elevator just looks like a typical generic, but looking closer, you see it is a LONG elevator! I have never seen Long use innovation before, and this could have been one of the last installs Long did before being bought out by Kone. The motor on this thing is a beast!

FINAL RIDE - Montgomery Vector Elevator - Westpointe Apartments - Pittsburgh, PA
The elevator isn't getting modernized or removed. Chris is just moving out of his apartment here and we won't have access to this elevator anymore. This is a very cool elevator. This elevator is what started Chris's interest in elevators its very special to him. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to see this elevator. As of June 3rd, 2019 Chris is officially handed back in his keys so I can now disclose the location of this elevator. I filmed this elevator a few years ago with him. Patrick is also along for the ride.

Montgomery /mɒntˈɡʌməri/ is the capital of the U.S. state of Alabama and is the county seat of Montgomery County.[6] Named for Richard Montgomery, it is located on the Alabama River, in the Gulf Coastal Plain. As of the 2010 Census, Montgomery had a population of 205,764. It is the second-largest city in Alabama, after Birmingham,[7] and the 103rd largest in the United States. The Montgomery Metropolitan Statistical Area had a 2010 estimated population of 374,536. It is the fourth-largest in the state and 136th among United States metropolitan areas.[8]
The city was incorporated in 1819, as a merger of two towns situated along the Alabama River. It became the state capital in 1846, representing the shift of power to the south-central area with the growth of cotton as a commodity crop of the Black Belt and Mobile's rise as a mercantile port. In February 1861, Montgomery was selected as the first capital of the Confederate States of America, until the seat of government moved to Richmond, Virginia, in May of that year. During the mid-20th century, Montgomery was a major site of events in the African-American Civil Rights Movement,[9] including the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the Selma to Montgomery marches.
In addition to housing many Alabama government agencies, Montgomery has a large military presence due to Maxwell Air Force Base; public universities Alabama State University, Troy University (Montgomery campus), and Auburn University at Montgomery; private colleges/universities Faulkner University and Huntingdon College; high-tech manufacturing, including Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama;[10] and cultural attractions such as the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
USS Montgomery (Two ships) of the United States Navy have been named after the city, including Template:USS Montgomery.[11]
Montgomery has won several national awards including being voted Best Historic City by USA Today, being named an All-America City in 2014 by the National Civic League, being named a Top City For Job Growth in 2014 by ziprecruiter.com, and being named the happiest city in Alabama. Montgomery has also been recognized nationally for its successful, and ongoing downtown revitalization and new urbanism projects with Montgomery having been one of the first cities in the nation to implement Smart Code Zoning.
