A monument honouring the creator of the famous AK-47 assault rifle, Mikhail Kalashnikov, was installed in the centre of Moscow, at the junction of Sadovaya-Karetnaya and Dolgorukovskaya streets on Saturday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports at a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday.

Our meeting today, a meeting of the sports Council, is devoted to the preparation of sports reserve and sports teams. This subject is not only about the formation of a worthy replacement for high performance sport. The most important thing is raising a healthy younger generation that should share the values of the active lifestyle and physical culture.

I have already talked about this many times, in any case, on those issues in which large amounts of money are often going today, and are not always justified.

Давайте же посмотрим, как выглядит социалистический рай на Земле — город Самчжиён. С точки зрения градостроительства город далёк от идеала. Застроен он несколькими типовыми проектами: есть пятиэтажка, есть десятиэтажка, есть двухэтажные домики. Всё это довольно случайно расставлено. А ещё в этом ролике мы немного обратимся к северокорейской истории.
