-Local transport includes the Moscow Metro, a metro system famous for its art, murals, mosaics, and ornate chandeliers.
-As Metro stations outside the city center are far apart in comparison to other cities, up to 4 kilometres (2.5 mi), an extensive bus network radiates from each station to the surrounding residential zones.
-Moscow has an extensive tram system which first opened in 1899. The newest line was built in 1984. Its daily usage by Muscovites is low, approximately 5% of trips, because many vital connections in the network have been withdrawn.
-There is also a short monorail line, operated by the Moscow Metro company.
-Suburbs and satellite cities are also connected by commuter elektrichka (electric rail) network.

The monorail line has six stations.
And we got to monorail from vistavochny tsentr and went out on timiryazevskaya.
The route go through sleepy areas and you can see where people in Moscow live and imagine a piece of their lives.
You can use a ticket which you usually use in metro.

In this video, I have shared my experience of Moscow Metro :) The Moscow Metro is a rapid transit system serving Moscow, Russia, and the neighbouring Moscow Oblast cities of Krasnogorsk, Reutov, Lyubertsy and Kotelniki. Opened in 1935 with one 11-kilometre (6.8 mi) line and 13 stations, it was the first underground railway system in the Soviet Union. As of 2019, the Moscow Metro excluding the Moscow Central Circle and Moscow Monorail has 232 stations (263 with Moscow Central Circle) and its route length is 397.3 km (246.9 mi), making it the fifth-longest in the world. The system is mostly underground, with the most in-depth section 84 metres (276 ft) underground at the Park Pobedy station, one of the world's deepest. It is the busiest metro system in Europe, and a tourist attraction in itself.

The trail begins near the metro station Timirjazevskaja passes on the street Fonvizina, crosses the line of the October railway misses Telecentre Academician Korolev Street, exit to the Main, and then to the North entrance ENEA. By the end of 2013 monorail enjoy 20,000 people a day. [2]

Трасса начинается у станции метро «Тимирязевская», проходит по улице Фонвизина, пересекает линию Октябрьской железной дороги, идёт мимо Телецентра по улице Академика Королёва, выходит к Главному, а затем к Северному входу ВДНХ. По итогам 2013 года монорельсом пользуются 20 тысяч человек в день[2].
Эксплуатирующей организацией монорельсовой транспортной системы является государственное унитарное предприятие «Московский метрополитен».
