Motomachi Shopping District
A shopping street centered around streets in 1 through 5 Chome. There is a symbolic arch with a phoenix-shaped sculpture at the entrances on both ends. The street is lined up with many well-established brand shops of Hama Tra (Yokohama Traditional Fashion), as well as other clothing, variety goods, antique, cutlery, furniture, jewelry and popular foreign brand shops, delicious restaurants and fashionable cafes. Benches for resting and watering holes for pets are placed, offering a friendly environment for both humans and pets. Perfect place for a casual stroll.
Every year at the end of February and September, a large-scale sale known as Charming Sale is held for a week. Many people from all around Japan visit Motomachi for this event. Many stores are closed on Mondays.

Walking in Yokohama, Japan - Motomachi & Yamate - 4K 60FPS
In this video I'm exploring Motomachi and Yamate in Yokohama, two of the first areas in Japan to gain a significant population of westerners. Many of the first international businessmen and diplomats settled here during the years after Japan finally opened up it's borders.
Today, many older buildings influenced by western architecture are still standing here, some of them has been turned into small museums and other cultural facilities.
Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan, and located about 30 minutes by train from the Japanese capital. It makes for a great day-trip and is well worth visiting thanks to it's different ambiance and slightly more laid-back culture.
This was filmed in November 2018 with a Fujifilm X-T3 in 4K 60FPS. The lens used is a Laowa 9mm f2.8, and the camera was mounted on a Zhiyun Crane for stability.
Shot in F-Log and graded in Adobe Premiere CC.
This was the first time for me to try out using an external mic (Zoom H1, with windshield/dead cat) when filming. Please let me know if you notice any difference in the audio quality. It was a very windy day so some wind noise can probably still be heard, but I think it's a great improvement compared to when I was using the internal mic.

458spiderで神奈川県横浜市にある元町商店街の横浜元町ショッピングストリートを走行した時の車載動画です。一方通行の狭い道のため皆さんの視線が痛いです。この日はニコルのイベントがあったのですが今見返したら 2:26 付近(画面前方左)でスタッフ車両と間違えらてるシーンが収まっていました。ちなみにここは以前、F1のレッドブルが実際に走行した道路でもあります。
幅員は狭いもののパーキングメーターが随所にあるためちょっと車を停めてからのお買い物やカフェなど雰囲気もよく好きな道の一つです。
※土日祝日の12時から18時までは歩行者天国のため車両進入禁止
となりますのでご注意ください。

It is an in-vehicle movie when running on the Yokohama Motomachi shopping street in Motomachi shopping district in Yokohama City, Kanagawa prefecture with 458spider. This is also the road that Red Bull of F1 actually traveled before.
It is one of the favorite roads often like shopping and cafes after parking a car for a while because the width is narrow because the parking meters are everywhere.
