Moula Ali hill is a monadnock or dome-shaped hill located in Moula Ali, Hyderabad, India. It is well known for the Moula Ali dargah and a holy stone, which are both on top of the hill. The area is maximally occupied by Muslims.
The Moula Ali hill is approximately 614 metres (2,014 ft) tall. It has 484 steps from dargah to bottom of the hill and has about 600 tombs around it.
There is another hillock near the Moula Ali hill, called Qadam -e- Rasul, on which the sacred relics of the prophet were deposited by Mohammad Shakrullah Rahan, a servant of Asaf Jahi.
The Moula Ali dargah is located on top of the hill. It was built by Sultan Ibrahim Qutub Shah and it is the only dargah dedicated to maula Ali, son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad. Its interior is decorated with thousands of mirrors and it is one of the 11 heritage sites in Hyderabad, identified by the Heritage conservation committee of HUDA.

The Moula Ali Dargah is one of the 11 heritage sites identified by the Heritage conservation committee of HUDA. Maula-Ali is largely rocky with undulating terrain. However, it has become a major commercial hub. There is another hillock opposite the Moula Ali Hill, called Qadam -e- Rasul on which the sacred relics of the prophet were supposedly deposited by Mohammad Shakrullah Rahan a servant of Asaf Jahi.

Hiking Near Moula Ali Hill, Hyderabad
Hiking to Moula Ali Hill | A weekend activity in Hyderabad.
Hiking is on the top of Moula Ali hill and route is via maula ali dargah, where you get a great view of hyderabad city and also enjoy sunrise and sunset. Maula Ali Dargah is a famous pilgrimage destination. There is no intent to hurt any religion's feelings as it was a just a hiking and all rules of dargah management were followed.

Bring water bottles - 2, get fruits/juices/energy bar / something to munch on after and during the trek have a lite breakfast before trek don't come empty stomach, or take milk/honey/apple/orange.
